   There’s a really good online article about Bunheads in today’s Salon.com. If you buy the writer’s premise, the show is moving at a deliberately slow pace to lay a foundation for a second season. The article also likens the show’s format to that of Seinfeld’s unstructured format in which events were just allowed to unfold. This goes a long way toward addressing my previous criticisms about the apparent lack of structure in Episode 4. It’s comforting for fans to believe that the network suits may be planning to give this show time to find an audience. However, I’m still concerned that the show dropped 200k viewers in just one week. Hopefully, this was just an aberration.

   I actually think Perception is a good show with a lot of potential and I hope it’s numbers continue to grow.

   Kissan,
   I seriously doubt Single Ladies is serious competition to Bunheads. There is no way I believe the same people watching Single Ladies also watch Bunheads. I know a lot of people who watch Single Ladies, and most of them don’t have a clue what Bunheads is. The Bachelorette is probably competition for Bunheads but in no way is Single Ladies. The audience for Single Ladies is definitely not the same for Bunheads.

   Raw did great this week!

   With Raw1000 happening next week(Stone Cold,Rock,DX,Lesnar and others returning), they’ll have over 5M viewers for the entire show.

   And yet after everything the network wanted to give it a sixth season but couldn’t. One of the perks of it being owned by NBC. Syfy reps tried and failed to save the show. As confirmed by Jaime Paglia.

   If any fans are angry they should aim their protests at NBC.

   Re: Eureka This program ran 77 episodes. That should usually be enough to keep the protestors at bay. By the middle of season 5, it was becoming clear that there wasn’t a whole lot left to be said. The characters had been thoroughly defined and the plot lines had been pretty much been resolved. If the show had kept on going, it likely would have had to be reinvented to keep from deteriorating into a science fiction procedural. Since the numbers weren’t that high, I can see why NBC finally chose not to renew it. Eureka closed in a good way, so let it go.

    Secret Life has heavy competition from both Love and Hip Hop and The Bachelorette, but more so Love and Hip Hop.

    Bunheads – 0.5 adults 18-49 rating and 1.235 million total viewers

    Teen Wolf – 0.5 adults 18-49 rating and 1.327 million total viewers

    Teen Wolf did pretty decent considering its situation. It was an amazing episode and Viacom needs to do something quick.

    Daily show is is taking a big hit from the Viacom disaster. And since they are banning it from the net too, they are playing games with one of their most popular products. It’s not just a million awards: Stewart’s a hot commodity. People have been after him for years to do more mainstream things, and I’m wondering if this might finally jog him off the Viacom U-Boat.
