   Disney did great!!!!!! ANT Farm has really got to do something. GLC is amazing. Best numbers Ive seen in that 7:30 timeslot since they had Hannah Montana there.

   Good news about Retired at 35. In an immediate effect, TV Land is moving it to Wednesdays at 11:00 following The Soul Man and The Exes. Remember to watch, TV Land needs to promote the f–k out of it.

   I’m surprised that Smalltown Security didn’t do better following Breaking Bad. That show was genuinely funny & knew nothing about it before watching BB.

   I agree, personally find the show as interesting as watching paint dry, though saying that is a little harsh on paint as it at least is an interesting thing to do lol.

   Perhaps viewers love women who walk around with 50 layers if makeup and are genuinely fake?

   No MLS ratings for Sunday yet. But on Saturday, the MLS game (LA vs Portland) pulled 256,000 viewers on NBC Sports Network. That’s higher than last week’s season high of 151,000 viewers.

   Trueblood – 73/100 on metacritic… which puts it fairly high on the critically acclaimed list.

   and huge demo ratings. Not really sure how I’d classify it as unwatchable.

   It might not be your type of show but some people love the campy humor, the social commentary and the bizarre and absurd sexy and violent adventures of these interesting and damaged characters.

    Great for the Kardashians, I thought it was a great episode. Its so weird though how no matter what the kardashians get the Eastwoods always stay between 1-1.2 million, I don’t like it but you figured it would go up when the Kardashians do. Great for RHONJ, I love them. My fave Sunday night show, and strong numbers for an episode that wasn’t one of the dramatic ones.

    That Small Town Security was terrible, surprised it was on AMC. It had Tru TV Quality. That is never a complement.

    Some sports ratings numbers found on Twitter:

    Sunday ratings: MLS on ESPN (NY vs. Seattle) got 344K.

    Most watched show on NBC Sports Network last week: 435K viewers tuned into part of the Tour de France last Sunday.

    Top six shows on NBCSN last week were Tour de France-related. MLS was the 7th.

    Just 88K viewers tuned in for the Major League Lacrosse game Charlotte-Denver on ESPN2

    True Blood…”interesting characters”? “Social commentary”? When a show is just about solely centered around who’s-sleeping-with-who, I have a hard time saying it has social relevance–the whole vampire/civil rights/bs it tries to shoehorn in has the subtlety of a Zack Snyder filmed sex scene. TB may be HBO’s highest rated show, but that doesn’t make it good. It will eventually surrender the ratings throne to Game of Thrones (no pun intended), and sooner rather than later.

    None of this is to insult viewers who watch TB, but I see a significant difference between watching something for campy entertainment and accepting it as much, and watching said campy entertainment and convincing oneself it’s a brilliant, socially relevant work of art. In terms of quality (writing, acting, production value, artistic merit, etc.), it is mid-tier HBO at best. Truthfully, it’s more of a Showtime or Starz production.
