   What about retired at 35 ratings,

   Does the dip for the abc family comedies mean jane by design was their second highest show rated this week.
   Can’t remember what mondays got, also def renewal for the comedies.

   Know their ratings are low but think tvland will renew the soul mam and the exes, especially the latter

   Sad to see Lenore Varela take her exit – from a window – on Dallas – smokin’ hot mama! Aside from her, there hasn’t been a particularly significant amount of sex on the show so far. The two female leads get – and give – very little action. I seem to recall a lot more bedroom hijinks on the original – given J.R.’s predilections. His son doesn’t seem up to the task…

   I’m a little concerned about Necessary Roughness. This is truly a phenomenal show. It is well written and superbly acted. IMO it’s the most underrated show of the summer. I hope it comes back. Wednesdays in the Summer would not be the same without Dr. Dani. And I love, LOVE TK. He is so much fun to watch. As far as Dallas is concerned, I never watched the original but I’m enjoying the TNT version. I have to admit though, that I rather watch JR and his schemes and Bobby in his righteous indignation than John Ross (the only character I really don’t care for) and the other younger ones. The first generation bunch are really stellar…

   Glad to see Real World inching up.

   It’s really an interesting cast this season.

   Now that Viacom/Directv settled, maybe it’ll make the top 10 next week.

    Dallas is doing just fine. Alot of people forget that people DVR the show. I read that last week after DVR numbers were figured in the show almost topped 6.1 million viewers. Also, when you add both of it’s airings (9 & 11) the show has 5 million viewers and a 1.2 in the demo—Without DVR numbers. Also, now that the viacom dispute is settled I would like to see the ratings for Nick channel. They have the absolute worst children’s programming (Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents, Fred and more). Disney has much better programming.

    @AJ — maybe it’s up a tad in total viewers, but down in demo. And as for “catching” Royal Pains, sure, it could one day, but I’d like to point out that the trend is going the other way right now.

    @Brad — ok, now what happens when you do all that twisting around with Dallas’ competition? Guess what? The competition is still ahead. Again, no one is saying Dallas is in trouble.

    Yeah, Necessary Roughness is looking pallid. USA doesn’t cancel that quickly (viz In Plain Sight and Psych– although Psych seems to have gotten a strip deal or two lately) but if it’s got a lot of shows in its pipes, it could be in trouble. Still, IPS was doing those kinds of numbers for its whole run.

    @Dempster:

    Shows like Saving Grace and Hawthorne were doing the same or better not longer than a couple of years ago. Dark Blue was a certified flop. TNT ratings are down in general. Like USA’s, while FX is having a resurgence. AMC is the real cable channel winner. It’s the one on the way up.

    IPS was doing so much better in its first years. It would get 1.2-1.3 point in the demo.

    So im guessing those are bad numbers for last ep of Around The World In 80 Plates as compared to Bravo’s other food shows? Also havent seen Watch What Happens on this list lately…has it been off-air?

    the best 5 shows on tv right now (in my opinion)
