Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

So… when will NBC DELETE Saving Hope?

  • Gange

Why would they get rid of Saving Hope, it did better than Parks & Rec and The Office repeats. It’s NBC, 3 million viewers is pretty damn good.

  • Survivor Fan

The 8:00 TBBT was even higher than that of last week. Could it have hit a 3.0 at 8:30 had it aired? Would that have held BB steady or close to it at a 2.5 or 2.6? It is fun to play these what-ifs.

  • Julia

Clearly all the lows are because of all the people lining up for midnight showings of The Dark Knight Rises.

Just getting that out of the way.

  • Billy

Thursday at 8:30 after The Big Bang Theory is the most plum time slot in all of TV. Just look at how much higer Two and a Half Men and a few weeks earlier Two Broke Girls did in that time slot comparable to their terrible Monday ratings.

  • cc

TAAHM did nicely behind TBBT. Guess that just may be their new spot? Monday’s not looking all that strong for cbs though. But who knows?

  • Lane

    Blame Batman.

  • Sonya

Good 0,5/2 ? Saving Hope was Bad and Slow……CANCEl please!!!

  • Survivor Fan

    @cc
TAAHM is scheduled to air on Thursdays at 8:30 this fall.

  • Tyler W. . . . .

    Go saving hope!!!!!!!!!!

  • Jeff R

Take Me Out is steady. I hope Fox orders it again for next summer.

  • Observer

    @Tyler W
    Go where?

  • Dankota

    Where is Sullivan & Son?

  • tv log

CBS Univision has copy of Big Brother! Did You sue them! No! You didn’t sue Telemundo when it had Protagonistas! Drop lawsuit against ABC! You have license of show which has coyright protection like Deerpark owning H2O! Perrier! Back off! Deerpark own water formula! H2O

  • Mary

Saving Hope despite not having competition goes Bad . Yes delete S.H.

  • Jon23812

Deuts would do better if it was a Fall/Winter show instead of a summer show.

  • AniMatsuri

What you talking about? Duets would be crushed by The Voice & X-Factor if made a Fall/Winter show.

  • Jon23812

@AniMatsuri, it doesn’t have to air at the same day or time you know.

  • Jon23812

@Dankota, That’s a cable show. This is a list for broadcast shows. The Top 100 Cable Telecasts will be uploaded soon today.

  • Nick

Wipeout still beats everything on ABC except The Bachelorette. Nobody needs to be worried unless it drops under 1.5.
