As part of the all-new “Laugh Your FOX Off!” Tuesday comedy block, BEN AND KATE (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) and THE MINDY PROJECT (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) debut Tuesday, Sept. 25 on FOX.

BEN AND KATE stars Dakota Johnson (“21 Jump Street,” “The Five Year Engagement”) and Nat Faxon (“Bad Teacher,” Academy Award-winning co-screenwriter of “The Descendants”) as a pair of odd-couple siblings – one a responsible single mom; the other an exuberant dreamer – who reunite to help raise Kate’s daughter, Maddie (Maggie Elizabeth Jones, “We Bought A Zoo”).  Dana Fox (NEW GIRL, “What Happens in Vegas”) is creator/executive producer. BEN AND KATE is produced by 20th Century Fox Television and Chernin Entertainment. The series is executive-produced by Fox, Peter Chernin (NEW GIRL, TOUCH), Katherine Pope (NEW GIRL, TOUCH), Jake Kasdan, Neil Goldman (“Community”) and Garrett Donovan (“Community”). Kasdan directed the pilot.

THE MINDY PROJECT is a biting new single-camera comedy from Emmy Award-nominated writer/producer and New York Times best-selling author Mindy Kaling (“The Office”), that follows a woman who, despite having a successful career, is unlucky in love and desperately needs to get her personal life back on track before her friends and colleagues are forced to stage an

intervention. THE MINDY PROJECT is produced by 3 Arts Entertainment in association with Universal Television. The series is created and written by Mindy Kaling. Kaling, Howard Klein (“The Office,” “Parks and Recreation”), Matt Warburton (THE SIMPSONS) and Michael Spillman (“Modern Family”) are executive producers. Charles McDougall (“The Office,” “Parks and Recreation”) directed the pilot.

Mindy looks horrible; the lead actress is hideous.

  • Sha

Nobody will watch these shows then or on Tuesdays.

FOX you have fallen off the map real bad.

  • NBC is awesome

I love Mindy, she hilarious, and beautiful and the show looks AMAZING!

  • Lukas

Mindy Project will be the best sitcom this season!

  • joel

You might be right that they won’t succeed but I still like sneak previews like this so I can confirm before the season starts whether I can scratch it off my list or give it one more chance.

  • swalker

Those who have watched the Mindy Project pilot seemed to have loved based on twitter responses. Apparently the trailer doesn’t do the show justice.

Ben & Kate has also gotten favorable responses.

Could the have picked anyone more unattractive then mindy.. It would be very difficult. I could only look at her for a whole season as an occasional supporting cast. I hope both of these shows get axed quick.. They both look absolutely stupid. Thank god fringe is coming back.. So fox has at least one interesting show this season because all the new shows look lame.

  • Ann

So sick of the stupid looking, totally annoying “Mindy Project” commercials. If it was the only thing on- still wouldnt waste my time. Who screens this crap? Nothing funny in ANY of these clips. Thank you for warning me with the samples of “Mindy talentless clips” that the show merits absolutely -0- of my time, wishing, praying they stop running within the next minute FOR GOOD!

I watched the pilot and I don’t understand how this woman got her own show. I don’t think she is funny or a good actress and she is very unattractive to look at and overweight. I know not all actresses are beautiful, but then they are either great actresses or super funny. Mindy has none of these qualities. I predict this show will be cancelled in a few weeks.
