CNN still riding the tragedy train. When will it drop off? I guess by Wednesday.

  • Ratboy

Matthews and Sharpton had pitifull numbers!! And Schultz aint much better! A year ago we were saying they would be in campaign mode and getting numbers but now I guess we have to wait and see if it picks up after the conventions. I guess they could just blame it on Obama for not lighting the electorate on fire like they hoped he would or…………………………blame it on Bush!

  • AppleStinx

Sadly, people who turn to CNN in times of tragedy can’t make themselves watch ‘Early Start/Starting Point’.

  • Letmethink

Early Start/Starting Point back down. Erin Burnett still up a little.

Hows Obama working out for ya??

CBO to employers: Obamacare has $4B more in taxes than expected

Business owners will pay $4 billion more in taxes under President Obama’s Affordable Care Act (ACA) than the Congressional Budget Office had previously expected.

“According to the updated estimates, the amount of deficit reduction from penalty payments and other effects on tax revenues under the ACA will be $5 billion more than previously estimated,” the CBO reported today. “That change primarily effects a $4 billion increase in collections from such payments by employers, a $1 billion increase in such payments by individuals, and an increase of less than $500 million in tax revenues stemming from a small reduction in employment-based coverage, which will lead to a larger share of total compensation taking the form of taxable wages and salaries and a smaller share taking the form of nontaxable health benefits.”

In short, CBO revised the Obamacare tax burden upward by $4 billion for businesses and $1 billion to $1.5 billion for individual workers.

AP Exclusive: Internal documents shows Obama deportation proposal could cost more than $585M

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration’s new plan to grant temporary work permits to many young, illegal immigrants who otherwise could be deported may cost more than $585 million and require hiring hundreds of new federal employees to process more than 1 million anticipated requests, according to internal documents obtained by The Associated Press

  • Letmethink

Agree Applestinx I tune into CNN from time to time. Can’t watch ES/SP more than 2-3 minutes.

  • Laurence Glavin

Lawrence O’Donnell began his broadcast by saying that he was not interested in furthering the wishes of a psychopath to have his name and face plastered everywhere (by this I assume he meant the Aurora mass murderer and not Rush Limbaugh) so he (O’Donnell that is) would therefore conduct a normal, Romney-bashing exercise as if nothing had happened in Colorado on his night off. For the first 55 minutes, he did so, but did veer into the subject he said he would not mention. Still it was a good 55 minutes of normal fare.

  • AppleStinx

Fourth straight day in which MSNBC found itself behind HLN in Total Day demo.

Whose Side is He (Obama) On?

Yes, Obama and his State Department allow a known terrorist into the US and inside the White House. Hani Nour Eldin is a member of the Egyptian terrorist group Gamaa Islamiya. Their “spiritual leader” is the “blind sheik” Omar Abdel Rahman, who sits in a federal prison on terror-related charges. It’s a terrorist group that’s on the State Department’s list, yet this guy was granted a visa and allow in the country.

As the video asks: Whose side is Obama on?

Video Shows Enraged Man Attacking U.S. Flag-Bearer During Obamacare Protest

A video posted by a conservative student group during a recent anti-Obamacare protest shows a man losing his cool and attacking protesters during what they say was a peaceful gathering to oppose the president’s healthcare mandate.

The group, Tradition Family and Property (TFP), was protesting in northern Little Rock, AR, on July 17, the group’s website says. Sometime during the protest — with cameras rolling — a man approached the group and eventually attacked.

You couldn’t pay me a G-note to visit Chicago. Mayor Mike, years ago, here in Hartford was promoting night life in a particularly dangerous part of the City, on a TV commerical. To which my Dad replied, “At night…I wouldn’t go down there in the day.”

Holder’s DOJ Investigating Pennsylvania Voter ID Law to Determine If It Discriminates Against Minorities

Holder, civil rights groups and Democrats are hell-bent on stealing this election by stopping voter ID. They depend on the fictional, dead, felons and illegals voting early and often to keep power.

“Hold Up. We can’t hold minorities to the same standards. We, liberals have to help them vote for us.”

The tragedy also gave HLN Evening Express a booast too.. It’s doing twice as well now..

Here are 6 Moments Where the Media has Wrongly Blamed Conservatives (and the Tea Party) for Violence

  • betty

That person called Brian Ross and his co-hort George Stephan-Dopey-Mouse
should absolutely be FIRED and Banished from TV after they so callously
tried to blame The Batman Shooting on the Tea Party with no proof whatsoever
They should be Punished for conduct unbecoming newsreporters (ha ha).
Incidentally, the “Batman” franchise has been effectively destroyed by the
    Shooter, but that’s another matter.
