Red Bull Hare Scramble Airs Tonight at 11 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network
New York, New York – July 24, 2012 – As part of the Red Bull Signature Series, the Red Bull Hare Scramble airs tonight on NBC Sports Network at 11 p.m. ET. Approximately 1,500 of the world’s best enduro motocross riders will navigate some of the roughest terrain on Erzberg Mountain in Austria, hoping to defeat the natural elements and finish the course – only about 100 competitors are expected to finish. Host Sal Masekela will take viewers through each twist and turn of the adventure.
A true mental and physical test of strength and stamina, the Red Bull Hare Scramble will follow the motocross racers as they push the limits through unforgiving conditions. Viewers will be on the edge of their seats, as riders take to the off-road track battling rocks and mud, while maintaining high speeds. Only one winner will be crowned, while less than 10 percent of the competitors will have the skills and endurance necessary to reach the finish line.
The Red Bull Hare Scramble is part of the Red Bull Signature Series – made up of 35 hours of one-of-a-kind programming on NBC and the NBC Sports Network all year long.
