   DDD demos really low.Does anyone know if its time to worry yet?Im not sure what Lifetime considers rrenwal worthy but I hope we get a final season to wrap up & get Jane/Greyson together.This season has been the weakest so far and I hope they get rid of Luke & it seems most of this season theyre not paying attention to making Janes hair/,,makeup look as good as before &they need to get rid of Owen.I think Luke and Jane/Owen are the reason the ratings are dropping a lot this season.

   @Amy – True Blood may have its flaws but it is pretty good entertainment by providing lots of very sexy actors, frequently naked, often having sex, soft-horror scenes, regular murders, unbelievable (in every sense of the word) plots involving all sorts of unusual species / creatures… It is no intellectual pursuit, that’s for sure but it has some funny dialogue, a few compelling characters and some of the actors (like the awesome Dennis O’Hare) really shine…

   On the other hand, Breaking Bad… Excellent quality TV that’s for sure but often tough to watch and sometimes tough to follow esp. if one hasn’t seen previous seasons…No eye candy, no romance / redemption in sight for the characters…. So all things considered for its 5th (i think?) season, I’d say ratings are pretty decent…

   Does it irk anyone else that shows are still rated based on the age of their viewers? Longmire outdid True Blood, Breaking Bad, and the Kardashians, but is rated way lower, which totally misrepresents what the majority of viewers are actually watching.

   @Nick, if it wouldn’t be any trouble, do you know how ‘Welcome to Sweetie Pies: An Extra Slice’two episodes do on Saturday 8 & 9 pm. Off subject, but those numbers for ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter’ look pretty low.

   Delighted about ratings for Food Network star. A little underwhelmed by this year’s competitors, though… Still, a very entertaining show.

   @Dennis — Was FS was really #1 on scripted basic cable last year? I remember there were a lot of 1.4 ratings for other shows on different networks, and did FS do that? I believe Burn Notice, Suits, Royals Pains and Anger Management are leading it this year–unless FS has had better ratings than this that I’m forgetting about.

    @ Amy… Why do you always feel the need to post on how much you hate True Blood??? It is in its 5th season, it has a loyal fan base… It is my favorite TV series. Obviously I wish there was not soo many story lines, buut to me that is its only down fall. The prvious seasons had more characters tied into less story lines. It is number one on Sunday nights week in and week out for a reason, aand it wins by a land slide, if you hate it soo much stop watching and posting about it, aand let us who enjoy the show watch it aand not have to read ppl bashing it. FYI you are in the minority

    Royal Pains never did better than a 1.1 and Anger Management started high but is already down to 1.0.

    Suits had done 1.1-1.2, not better. Burn Notice 1.2-1.3 till now. As average, FS has done better than them.

    Shame about The Great Escape, a very good show just badly casted.

    For example the last episode, they had 2 physically unfit obese guys, in a situation/course that was physically intensive, in temperatures of around 105oF(Near enough 39oC average). No wonder one of them was going to essentially drop down because of the heat, neither of them could cope with the situation.

    This obviously took away the challenge/enjoyment of the episode as it came down to 2 teams.

    Casting should of put a younger, physically healthy male/female couple in their place.

    Its basic common sense, if you’re going to put people in an extreme enviroment, they need to be healthy and able to cope lol.

    ‘Breaking Bad’ loosing some, not a surprise, but I think it will be steady or rise slightly (but if you ask me; the show has always been overrated: Though thats only my personal opinion of the show)

    Overrated?!? and do you call good tv FS? please FS is so unrealistic. BB is a good show and doesnt deserve to be called overrated for sure shows like Modern Family, FS ,Mad Men, TBBT,2 broke girls sure they are overrated they got unnormous audience big salaries and most of them doesnt deserve it
    To call a show with 1.0 demo for most of years overrated is NONSENCE its actually underestimated just my opinion

    Falling Skies and American Horror Story tied for #1 as 2011′s number 1 scripted show’s on basic cable.

    I think this season on Falling Skies is averaging a 1.3 so far -v- 1.5 for season 1.

    At 1.3 (or even 1.2) it is still this year’s #1 scripted show on basic cable.

    Other shows have started out high (Dallas 1.5) but have fallen very quickly (Dallas 0.9)

    Also….I watched Breaking Bad for the first time ever starting with this season’s premiere last week and thought it was pretty crap. Was is considered a bad episode amongst fans? NOTHING happened

    @OWN Fan: Welcome to Sweetie Pies: An Extra Slice aired from 7P-3A. Two highest rated were the 9P and 10P telecasts (257K viewers/0.08 A18-49 and 231K/0.08, respectively). The 8P airing only pulled in 132K viewers and a .04 A18-49 rating.

    And @DisneyFan: no worries at all about asking. Just was on vacation.

    OWN Fan…if you think Next Chapter is low at 301,000 viewers, the numbers get worse on Super Soul Sunday with Oprah’s Book Club 2.0 inaugural interview featuring “Wild” author Cheryl Strayed…159,000 viewers.

    These numbers appear close to the cancelled Rosie O’Donnell Show on OWN.
