I feel like Suburgatory is going to get the Happy Endings treatment scheduling wise this year.
Modern Family will likely be an hour on Oct 10. Pretty late start for Suburgatory.
Was hoping Grey’s would have a 2 hour premiere. Glad Private Practice has a solid lead-in for a few weeks.
Those 2 hrs DWTS result show just for few weeks right?
I cant stand 4 hrs of dancing.
What a freaking mess.
Starting the Tuesday comedy hour late is smart. By then I’m sure the competing comedies will have settled. Smart not to premiere them all on the same night. It gives both a better chance.
So mostle ABC and CBS will do premier week, its smart that the comedies have a late smart though i don’t like the suburgatory/neighbors schedule other than that its nice.
I don’t want to have to wait that long for Happy Endings to start.
ABC has a pretty strong Sunday night line up there.
Apt23 and LMS will be having Halloween shows as their season premiers. They are taking a page out of the CW playbook with these late starts.
“Those 2 hrs DWTS result show just for few weeks right?
I cant stand 4 hrs of dancing.”
The first hour will likely be a recap. It is seriously impossible to do a 2 hour results show. That would really be stretching it.
“What a freaking mess.”
Seems straight forward to me. THIS is a mess.

Saturday Night College Football returns on September 1.
Yay for one-hour premiere of The Middle! The Heck Family is my favorite family on TV!
It’s a good idea to start Nashville behind an hour of Modern Family, and I think ABC give their new Wednesday shows and Suburgatory a good chance with this schedule.
I can’t wait for September 30 now
So what are they going to air Wednesday at 10 until Nashville starts?
I wonder if they are waiting on Suburgatory to see how quickly The Neighbors will bomb. Then they could always move Last Man Standing or Malibu Country to the post MF or post Middle spot
ABC is my #1 broadcast channel
Will Be Watching:
Castle, Happy Endings, Private Practice only because it is the final season, The Middle, Modern Family, Nashville, Last Resort, Scandal, Last Man Standing, Once Upon a Time & Revenge.
I wonder if Modern Family will be an hour on oct.
What’s going to be on October 3 and October 10 behind Modern Family? I guess if ABC has any brains on October 10 will be a one hour MF as lead in to the Nashville premiere? But what about October 3? A second episode of The Neighbors on one day?
Weird not seeing Desperate Housewives on the Sunday schedule, but ABC looks to have a good Sunday line up. I still miss Desperate though, we should’ve got that season 9 that everyone had already signed in for.
Bold prediction – The Neighbors won’t make it to see November sweeps
Oct 3 is a presidential debate.
@Michael
Next season of Private Practice hasn’t been announced as the final season yet.
