  • Matthew Chapman

Won’t the 3rd October be Premptions or repeats across the board because if i remember rightly isn’t the first Presidential debate that night?

  • Monica

the middle gets 1hr. like the last year ooh great

  • Bee

    FINALLY! anyway,

aw only 1-hour grey’s premiere :( but at least it’ll help scandal again.

i wonder if ABC will soon announce this season of PP as the final one. they can’t possibly be thinking of going on without kate walsh.

it’s too bad the neighbors looks so horrible because it’s getting a good schedule, similar to that of 2 broke girls last year; premiering after a big show and then moving to it’s normal, earlier timeslot the week later.

not starting the tuesday comedies until the 23rd is painful for fans, but smart. now they’ll get their own strong doses of promotion once all the new shows are out of the way. but PLEASE ABC. make funny promos this time. all the promos in the world won’t help if they’re not funny.

and omg. is MF going to be an hour on october 10th as a lead-in for nashville? YES PLEASE! can’t wait for that show.

i kind of wish the sunday line-up was starting later to reduce spring repeats, but whatever.

can’t wait for the shows to return!

  • joanna

I can’t wait for Once Upon a Time.

  • tjw

    Matthew,

You’re right. October 3rd will have the debate from 9-11 EST. October 10th it looks like they’re going to run an hour-long Modern Family into the Nashville premiere and then they’ll settle in to the normal schedule on the 17th.

  • Nick

I’ll be watching: (deep breath, now)
DWTS (don’t judge, my family watches it so I do), Castle, The Middle, Modern Family, Last Resort, OUAT, Revenge, AFV, Suburgatory, Last Man Standing, Malibu Country, and Body of Proof. I’ll check out 666 Park Avenue, Red Widow, and Zero Hour, but I don’t know if I’ll stick with them.

  • Danielle

I may have squealed when I saw Ginny Goodwin’s tweet with the Once Upon a Time premiere date. Out loud. It’s a good thing I don’t share workspace. ;)

  • Kissan

    FINALLY!!!!!

Cannot wait for Once Upon A Time, Revenge and 666 Park Avenue on Sep. 30th. Too bad I wanted a Grey’s Anatomy 2 hr season premiere but I don’t care. Also can’t wait for Last Resort but too bad since it’s goin against TBBT and 2 and a half men season premieres, so it sounds like it’s gonna get cancelled. Also can’t wait for MF season premiere and I really do hope on Oct. 10 that they do have a 1 hr episode to lead-in to Nashville cuz I really want to see that show. And I can’t wait THAT long for Apt. 23, that’s WAY too long but smart. DWTS All Star cast will be revealed on Good Afternoon America tomorrow!!!

  • Brandy

I can’t wait for wait for Once Upon A Time &Nashville, but seems like they’re starting late so most of Sept & Part of August they’ll b nothing to watch once my summer shows (Rizzoli&Isels,Drop Dead Diva,Pretty Little Liars,Bunheads,Jane by Design) finish thier season.

  • Nick

Apart from the comedies, this is very straightforward. Nothing wrong with this.

  • Ram510

Can’t wait for Scandal and so very happy I don’t have to wait til October for it.

A little concerned that nobody has Scandal on their list so far…

  • Julie

I could be really blind – but I don’t see Body of Proof on there anywhere…and I’m sure it was renewed.
Perhaps they are just planning on using it as a mid-season replacement (or sooner if one of the new shows implodes).

  • Kissan

Strong Sunday lineup. I really hope Revenge does good on Sundays cuz not only does it have to go against The Good Wife, Family Guy, American Dad season premieres and Sunday Night Football, it also has to go against Dexter season premiere and on Oct. 14, THE WALKING DEAD SEASON PREMIERE!!!!

  • s0303

i will check out nashville cuz of connie britton….love her…i love andre braugher and scott speedman also, but the last resort commercials just aren’t making me interested at all for some reason…

  • Dan

I’m surprised ABC hasnt announced Private Practice to be the final season especially when it was barely renewed for this upcoming year. Hopefully they will soon and the show can wrap up nicely.

  • glover

I wish Body of Proof replaces Last Resort. That show clearly will be the first to be canceled. Have no chance against so many strong shows like TBBT, 2 and a Half Men, X Factor and The Vampire Diaries.

I think that a traditional crime show like BoP is what ABC needs to break the curse of that timeslot.

  • Cory

I was hoping for a late start for the Sunday shows (like Once Upon a Time last year) to reduce repeats later in the season. I thought OUAT’s schedule was great last season, as besides the obvious pre-emptions for award shows, Xmas break, Super bowl, etc, it was almost always on! (think there was only 2 repeats in mid-April). Now there will be more repeats. Will be interesting to see what ABC does with Revenge. I know repeats are a part of TV, but people were really pissed at the scheduling last year (myself not really included, I thought it was alright).

  • Nick

    @glover
The last “traditional crime drama” in that slot was Charlie’s Angels. Remember how that worked out? To succeed, a show would need critical acclaim a reason for people to come back once a week, and good promotion. Last Resort has all but the last one. It has a better chance than Charlie’s Angels did, but it could have trouble. Fans can only hope.

  • Ricky

Finally! I assume this means MF’s salary talks have finished up…

Best of luck to Last Resort, 666 Park Avenue, and all other new shows! (Except The Neighbors, of course. No way there’ll be enough luck to go around to that one.)

  • Kissan

I love Revenge on Sundays. I think it can do better there. But they should’ve premiered it in October to have less repeats. Last year, I hated that GIANT hiatus from late Febuary to almost the end of April.
