Definitions: Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Great numbers for Supernatural since there really wasn’t any promotion on the move to Wednesday, I believe.

  • KS: Brotherly Love is The Centre of Supernatural Universe and No Galileo Can Prove It Wrong

Similar numbers for Supernatural on Wednesday and Friday. I hope Supernatural hits at least a 1.0 next season.

  • Kaylie

Expect AGT numbers to fall next week. There were a lot of disappointed Bieber fans on Twitter. Lol :)

No differance with SPN and ANTM for CW. Still good for SPN.

OMFG ,,, Big Brother 14 Spoilers: Willie Hantz ARRESTED For DUI!

Just days after Willie Hantz was expelled from the Big Brother house for attempting to head butt fellow house guest Joe Arvin, he was arrested for driving while intoxicated in Lafayette Parish in Louisiana. After he was expelled from the house a video was released where he did a phone interview
with his family where he told his side of the story about what he says really happened. During the altercation Willie threw pork rinds at Janelle which Ian plans to sell on ebay. As of right now, Willie is still being held in custody.

  • Nick

I think this was the first time ever I watched NBC all night. ;-)

Final Witness may still come back. At this rate, it’s still ABC’s highest-rated new reality (except for NY Med, which seems to be a miniseries).

    WILLIE HANTZ – TMZ Article
    tmz.com/2012/07/26/willie-hantz-big-brother-arrested/
    ++

1:40 PM PT — Willie has been released from custody on $750 bond.

Willie’s brother, Russell, has since tweeted a CONGRATULATORY message to Willie … writing, “Youre not famous until you have a mug shot congrats Willie @HantzBB lol”

11:17 AM PT — The Lafayette City Police Department tells TMZ … cops initially received a call about a fight in a parking lot near a bunch of bars.

When cops arrived, there was no fight … but there WAS a big crowd. Cops tried to clear the scene … when they noticed a yellow 2012 Camaro driving toward the back of the parking lot when everybody else was exiting.

Cops say they approached the vehicle … but before they could get there, Willie swung open the door and started to run. After a “very short pursuit” … Hantz was apprehended and arrested for OWI.

We’re told Hantz refused a breathalyzer and a blood test to determine if he was over the legal limit.

“Big Brother” villain Willie Hantz was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving this morning … just DAYS after he was kicked out of the “BB” house for attacking one of his co-stars.

According to law enforcement, Hantz was arrested in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana at 2:07 AM for OWI — operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Hantz is from Louisiana.

Hantz was kicked out of the BB house on July 20 after attempting to headbutt Joe during a heated exchange.

In his mug shot, 34-year-old Hantz is still sporting the mohawk haircut he gave himself while inside the “Big Brother” house.

Hantz is the younger brother of “Survivor” villain Russell Hantz.

    Hantz is still in custody.

    Story developing …

    @Joesph
This site already posted about that, and it has nothing to do with Adults 18-49 ratings, so it doesn’t really matter.

  • Androme

Kaylie, I don’t think AGT is on next week. Olympics?

  • Nick

I’m talking about the AdAge article, not the BB spoilers.

  • Joseph

@Nick , did not see the info here that was on Adage , was looking to see what was going on at the agencies via Adage and saw the piece :)

  • Baqinardo

There’ll be no AGT for the next 3 weeks.

  • Michael

That’s a new all-time low for a regular episode of SYTYCD, right?

Genius move for FOX to cancel the SYTYCD results show (which was hosted by Cat Deeley and averaged over 6M viewers) and replace it with cheesy dating shows (one of which is ironically hosted by Cat Deeley and averages a pathetic 3M viewers). The dumb decision is accelerating SYTYCD’s steep descent and hurting Fox’ overall average. Anyone know who made that genius decision?

  • glover

    Good numbers for Supernatural repeats.

I really wish every new show to be a hit so they can finally end Supernatural. I miss the time when I used to love this show and couldn’t wait for a new episode. I hope it gets a great final season to honor the perfect first four.

  • tobias

    where are the cable ratings

  • bryan

BB is as good as its ever been. People should really tune in. There is a lot of things going on and its really hard to see where any of its going. Cant see the point in getting rid of all of dans players though. They were never really a threat. Should have gotten a better player out first!
