“After much deliberation, we’ve come to the difficult decision not to renew ‘The Killing’ for a third season.  AMC is incredibly proud of the show and is fortunate to have worked with such a talented team on this project, from showrunner Veena Sud and our terrific partners at Fox Television Studios to the talented, dedicated crew and exceptional cast.”

Never got into the show, Thank God. Hopefully the fans got some sort of wrap up in the S2 Finale.

    Not surprised.

  3. AH

It was my favourite show on TV for the last two years… This is the worst entertainment news I’ve heard in a long, looong while :(

I’m OK with this. Hopefully Sud doesn’t get the chance to ruin another potentially great TV show.

    Obviously.

I cried my eyes off on the series finale…Now give me a nice drama with Joel Kinnaman on the lead and I’ll be just fine :D

i wonder if it would’ve been cancelled if it got nominated for some emmy’s :(

i’m not surprised. people dumped on the show when they weren’t happy with how season 1 ended and they didn’t come back. it was a good show. now they can give the money to mad men. :)

The Killing already wrapped its story so I don’t think it’s such a tragedy, they got the chance to end it properly

Never watched it. I heard they only ever solved 1 damn crime in a whole 2 seasons! Is that true?

I’m not surprised but still disapointing news. I love The Killing. I’m going to miss Linden/Holder and their unique partnership.

TNT or USA please pick The Killing up. Then start another murder mystery.

The show was boring. Glad its gone.

That is too bad though hardly a surprise…. It was too much to drag one criminal investigation over 2 seasons… Didn’t they learn from Twin Peaks? But Season 2 did a good job and the two main characters were very strong so they could have built up a good 3rd season (and so forth) on a completely different investigation.

    Well deserved cancellation

WTF! I LOVED THIS SHOW! UGHHHHHHH

  19. The End

Oh this show, I discussed this with someone on here a few weeks ago, forgot your name but said, considering the ratings the show was dead.

Good riddance. This show did not deserve to last for two episodes, much less two seasons. I despise serialized shows where the writers are just making crap up as they go along without any plan and think they can get away with it.
