“Taken out of Context” the last refuge of a scoundrel….repeat….”Taken
out of Context”, ad nauseum, ad infinitum.

So what you’re saying is that when the left takes things romney say out of context then the right are scoundrels when they say that the left took it out of context? Is that what you’re saying? So really, “out of context” can’t be used ever? Got it, I understand now. Thanks.

DNC Homepage Shows More Romney Attack Ads Than Obama Accomplishments

Oh snap! The liberal media is slowly turning on their golden boy.
    From CBS local DC.

If the Democratic National Committee’s strategy for victory is to muffle its own party’s achievements and focus more on slamming Republicans, it seems to be doing a good job on its website.

The DNC’s homepage has numerous attack ads against presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, far more than news touting President Obama’s accomplishments in office.

A review of the DNC’s homepage shows a majority of ads mocking Romney from “Romney’s Guide To International Diplomacy” following his comments that London might not be ready for the Olympics with the Twitter hashtag “RomneyShambles,” to attack ads highlighting “Mitt Romney’s $ecret $tash” of money in Swiss bank accounts and his tenure at Bain Capital.

But a visitor will have to dig through the site to find Obama’s signature accomplishments.

July 11 is the last post on the homepage to mention the president’s signature health care law, but in that instance, it’s a blog post about why Republicans shouldn’t have voted to repeal “Obamacare” for the 33rd time. Before that, users have to go back to last month to find the DNC page proclaiming a health care victory following the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the law as constitutional.

A recent Rasmussen Reports poll shows that Romney holds a 49 to 44 percent lead over Obama.

    All of this from CBS.

The committee sponsoring this fall’s three presidential debates says the first matchup between President Barack Obama and his Republican challenger, presumably Mitt Romney, will be devoted to domestic policy. Foreign policy will be the focus of their third meeting.

In between, the candidates will meet for a town hall in which people get to question them on both topics.

Obama and likely challenger Romney are scheduled to debate:
    Oct. 3 in Denver
    Oct. 16 in Hempstead, N.Y
Oct. 22 in Boca Raton, Fla.

Vice President Joe Biden and his counterpart are to meet Oct. 11 in Danville, Ky.

White House Projects $1.2T Deficit, Lower Economic Growth in 2012

Alternate heading should read: Obama continues to fail on cutting the deficit in half as promised.

How do they know the numbers? Obama hasn’t had a budget since April 29, 2009. His party won’t even give his budgets a vote.

The new projections incorporates economic data through June, so Friday’s new 1.5 percent GDP growth advanced estimate for the second quarter of calendar 2012 is not included.

Since Obamanomics a Failure, Obama Now Attempting to Run on Bill Clinton’s Economic Record

Three-and-a-half years into Obamanomics, Obama is now pivoting and attempting to claim his economy is like the economic success Clinton had. Only thing is Obama’s economy is nothing like, or nowhere near, Clinton’s. Remember, Obama said his plan is working and he has us on the right path and the private sector is doing fine. If this were true, Obama would run on his own record instead of Clinton’s.

Obama loves to blame others and take credit from others. He’s just redistributing success.

Faced with an stagnating economy and unemployment over 8 percent on his own watch, President Obama on the stump now invokes the economy during the era of former President Bill Clinton.

The president’s invocation of Clinton is part of his pitch to raise taxes on higher income brackets, as did President Clinton in 1993; and as a contrast to his current Republican opponents who seek to extend all the Bush-era tax rates, including those on the top wage-earners, which President Obama opposes.

Essentially, within this construct, President Obama is trying to cast the choice voters face as Bill Clinton versus George W. Bush, with Bill Clinton’s economy as his, and George W. Bush’s economy as Mitt Romney’s. Clinton’s economy saw the creation of tens of millions of jobs, an economic boom and a projected federal budget surplus.

Top Immigration Officials (ICE Union) Describe Border Chaos Resulting From Obama’s Amnesty Policy.

Thanks to Obama’s executive order, illegal immigrants are able to duck US immigration laws. The result is criminals get to stay inside our borders to commit more crime. The ICE Union is speaking out against Obama’s illegal act. The union head is pointing out the secret changes, order by Team Obama, that violates immigration laws and the rules of Obama’s own executive order.

No Joke: The Regime Replicates the Policy That Created the Subprime Mortgage Crisis

We’ve had people call here telling us that they went to seminars put on by the government on how to get people with no credit rating a AAA credit rating. How to do all of this. Well, you might be saying, “Rush, we know all this. What’s the point?” Well, according to William Tucker of the American Spectator, the federal government is about to start the whole process again. “[B]elieve it or not, the federal government is now starting another initiative to force banks to lend to low-credit-rated blacks and Hispanics — not just anybody but specifically blacks and Hispanics — and is threatening — and already imposing — huge punitive fines if they don’t.

“Moreover, this time they’re going even further. They’re going to take over the credit rating agencies and force them to change their standards to accommodate blacks and Hispanics so that nobody will have any idea who is a bad credit risk and who is not. In so many words, the government is about impose its will on the whole home-lending market and force another round of bad loans so that the banks are going to be looted once again so that even the federal government may not be able to bail them out this time.”

“The principle instrument” in the new round of subprime mortgages (I guess that’s what we’re gonna call this) “is not the Justice Department, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, as it was last time, ***************but the brand-new Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, designed by” Elizabeth Warren.******** Elizabeth Warren is administering this. I think that’s part of Dodd-Frank, if I’m not mistaken. Am I right about that?

The Consumer Finance Protection Bureau? I think that’s Dodd-Frank.

The Olympics is on guys, HAVE FUN!

  • Jeff

I can’t see the Olympic ceremony till 7:30pm pst.

Love that the Brits and many countries are mocking Mitt Romney in every paper and on every news program for his STUPID comment. Plus the MC had a nice slap for the Mayor of Salt Lake City. The modern day Neo Cons don’t know when to shut up.

Even Fox News and conservatives ripped MittWitt a new a$$ in the issue.

This is gonna leave a mark!!

Me and my 50/50 partner in our sign business did not make the business on our own. We had help from banks that lenses us money to start it up. If you didnt understand that from his speech the. You didnt get it.

I find it unbeleivable that someone would put themselvse down and not take credit for their acheivments in the name of ideoligy.
Did the lender give you the credit score to qualify for the loan or did you earn that by working hard and paying your bills on time? Did the lender give you the business plan to convince them to lend you the money or did you and your partner develop the plan from your brains because you studied hard and gained smarts. Did the Lender give you and your pasrtner the courage to take a chance or did you dig deep and bolster the courage based on YOUR talents? Did the lender tell you what equipment to buy or did you and your partner research and come up with the process and needed equipment? Was there poeple “smarter than you” that told you what to do or did you make the desicion based on input YOU soliceted?

  • Suikostinger

No, but they gave us the money that we would have never have been able to afford to create the business. We work as a “team” here in the US and that’s how/why people are ABLE to make and create businesses because of OTHER people AND self-perseverance. THAT was the point of his speech. Try to understand it. Have a good day.

  • Suikostinger

Oh yeah, let’s also not forget that the equipment we bought was made and sold to us by OTHER people. We would not have been able to do our jobs without it. We would not have been able to. Even more evidence of what the speech was about.

  • Suikostinger

Woops. Third sentence is a repeat. :)
