ABC has pulled low rated improv series "Trust Us With Your Life, which has been airing Tuesdays from 9-10PM, from its schedule. On Tuesday, July 31, the show will be replaced with a new  episode of "Wipeout." On Tuesday, August 7, a "Wipeout" repeat will air in the time period.

Here are the details from ABC.

“It’s the John Henson Show” – “Wipeout” – Nobody is safe when host John Henson takes over the show and wreaks havoc on all contestants including “Cat Zombie,” “Stunt Child” and “Burger Flipper.” Players quickly learn there are no 'Henson-tives' to earn on the course when they take on all-new obstacles such as the Henson Headshots, Slappy Meal and the Spin Psycho, leaving all competitors wishing John would just stay in the Wipeout booth! Only the final 3 contestants with the fastest times will earn a spot in the ever challenging Wipeout Zone to try and become $50,000 dollars richer. Hosted by John Anderson (ESPN’s “SportsCenter”), John Henson (E! Entertainment’s “Talk Soup”) and co-hosted by Vanessa Lachey (ABC’s True Beauty), this episode of “Wipeout” airs TUESDAY, JULY 31 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

CANCELED! NO ONE TRUSTED YOU W/ THEIR LIVES!

  • Joseph

“Trust us With Your Life” had even premiered??

I thought it would start in early August!

  • JMW

3 needs to get pulled next

  • http://tvbythenumbers.com Robert Seidman

@Joseph, 6 episodes have already aired (2 episodes each of the past 3 Tuesdays).

  • James

Got some on dvr, always wanted to check it out. Lazy/busy though.

  • One @ JMW

Oh, it will be. It will be…

  • Jon

Fred Willard gets the shaft again.

  • rob60990

That “It’s The John Henson Show” is a rerun.

  • Sammie

What a bummer, great show, very funny. Shame it couldn’t find an audience.

  • Cory

Dammit. They really couldn’t just let the final 2 episodes air for one more Tuesday? Ugh.

It was no Whose Line, that’s for sure, but it was still for the most part an immensely entertaining show. I’m a huge fan of this group, from both Whose Line and Drew Carey’s Improv-a-ganza, and was excited to hear another show of the type was coming on. The format doesn’t lend itself quite as well as Whose Line, but it was still a good show. I particularly liked the guy who would mime out lyrics of a song and the celeb had to guess the song (the guy was just fantastic).

Guess there just isn’t much of a market for this anymore. Come back soon Colin Mochrie!!

Any chance the final 2 episodes show up on demand? Online? burned off on a Saturday sometime? I still want to see them!

  • Oliver

I’m slightly surprised ABC felt its ratings were bad enough to pull it.

  • Jon23812

@Oliver, Why? 1.94 and 1.83 million, are terrible for ANY network television show.

  • Kissan

    @Jon23812

    Except for the CW.

  • Pinkle

Wow, what a coincidence that this happened the same day Wayne Brady appeared on The Talk to talk about the show! Mind you, although The Talk was all new today, it wasn’t live, so the episode was probably taped weeks ago.

  • ThatBob

That’s too bad; it was a fun show. I’d rather watch talented improvisers at work than watch idiots falling into a dirty pond time after time after time.

  • TVGuy

I guess Wipeout repeats will do better in the ratings. It’s a shame though, because I liked the show.

  • Fake Me Out

@Jon “Fred Willard gets the shaft again

Lets not bring up Fred’s shaft …

  • Cloudsforming

I’m not believing that this cancellation was due to poor ratings. How could reruns of another show rate higher? It was a very funny show. I think the network got cold feet over Fred Willard. At least Fred had the balls to do what he believed in.

  • Tony

They should be replacing it with repeats of happy endings and don’t trust the b in apartment 23!! Not repeats of wipeout!!

  • Nick

Seriously? They put a new episode of Wipeout here when it’s repeating in its usual Thu @8 pm slot? I hate ABC’s scheduling.
