Note:
- FOX Business Network’s (FBN) Lou Dobbs Tonight beat CNBC’s The Kudlow Report in the coveted advertising demo of persons aged 25-54 for the month of July, according to Nielsen Media Research. The victory marks the first monthly win for the 7 PM/ET program, anchored by Lou Dobbs, since launching in March 2011.
- For the month of July, Dobbs achieved a 10 percent advantage over CNBC with 43,000 viewers in the demo to Larry Kudlow’s 39,000. In total viewers, it was a close race with Dobbs earning 148,000, just shy of Kudlow’s 158,000. FBN is available in roughly half as many homes as CNBC and this is the first time a program has won the month in the advertiser friendly demo since launching in 2007.

Things will never be equal. People achieve at different levels. The person that works harder deserves more. Faith if I had a billion dollars tomorrow I would teach a lot of men and women to fish that don’t know how now. I would spend my money helping others because of my believe in Jesus Christ as my personal savior. I would help others because it would be my joy in life.
I am a poor man and that may be my lot in life. I still help others whenever and however I can.
I don’t believe in a mindless, faceless Government as a source of benevolence.

It will take a lot of mistakes to make President Obama look good to people. Did I mention that he has bankrupted the country. 6 Trillion in debt in four years. Are we Greece yet?
DB,
Hillbilly, I have noticed suiko has not responded to any of your “wanna bet” posts. I think he knows you have him by the short hairs.
He just won’t answer Hillbilly, just like Jeffy does when he gets called out /exposed.Hillbilly got him by the balls and is 100% correct and suikostinger knows it as does Sicilian Poppa knows it as well .It was when he 1st started posting and posting under the name Italian Mike. When he went off that time I posted that he was trying to make a fool out of him.Suik went off on one of his famous there, their, they’re and 5th grade grammar rants. So Hillbilly is 100% correct!
@
Jim
My grammar does stinks and you are correct I was posting under Italian Mike. I am going to see which mob movie is on AMC. See you guys later.
Squawkbox again got an absymal rating.
FBN touting Dobbs’ “demo” win is a bit overdone. I thought the cable news demo was 35-64. In any event, for CNBC and FBN — where the argument is about affluence and education level of the viewership, the 25-34 group is far less relevant.
I like Dobbs and compliment the poster above who said FNC should bring him over to replace Smith.
did CNN have braking news that morning ? I have never see there morining show beat morning joe and robin mead. morning joe is next to dead last. I heard something about Joe trying to link Austum to the shooting in Colorado.Anyone think that might be a backlash from that ?
.It was when he 1st started posting and posting under the name Italian Mike.
If it was when Italian Mike started posting then that’s what? 2 months ago? I’ve said over and over again that I DON’T bring up the grammar ANYMORE :hint: ANYMORE :hint: unless they don’t know grammar AND call someone stupid where as before I would just call them out for grammar like I did with Italian Mike. Or of course unless it’s brought up by Ratboy or someone else, which it has been for the past 3 weeks without me ever mentioning it. The only time that grammar has popped up from me FIRST, RECENTLY :hint: RECENYLY :hint: is when someone doesn’t know the difference between simple words AND calls someone dumb or stupid or someone like Ratboy sees someone messing up those words and is like “ohhh watch out for Suiko!!!!” You can’t call someone dumb or stupid then mess up those words like someone did 2 weeks ago. If you are going to call someone dumb or stupid and not know 5th grade grammar, I sure as hell AM GOING TO CALL YOU OUT.
Hey DB, how’s those photos of seeing more people in the same location at Glenn Becks Rally!? Oh wait, they both didn’t happen in the same location, so you were lying.
That and I kind of forgot that Sicilian Papa was Italian Mike.
Sicilian Papa, you use those words wrong all the time, have I ever said anything since your new name or even on your old name (Italian Mike) recently? nope. K thx. My point stands.
Rats,
I’m not going to Baraboo , but, my brother is a radiologist in Madison that travels to the Baraboo hospital every week as part of his work. I’d tell him to plug his ears except he’ll be with me at our family reunion.

Just a few musings & then I’m out of here.
It’s called ruin porn & urban decay. I became interested in it following the sad plight of Detroit’s noble buildings & I have yet to get to Detroit. Yet, locally, there is still much to explore, If anyone on this thread is interested in abandoned architecture, remember to take only photographs , & , leave behind only footprints. I’d recommend wearing a re-breather mask if going inside a building & to never go alone .
Urban decay got me thinking of abandoned Olympics structures. For example, the Athens Olympics has become the new Greek ruins.
The Athens Olympic Park seems to be the ultimate definition of the term white elephant. The games cost a whopping $7 billion – $14 billion to stage with the Greek taxpayers shouldering a large brunt of that. 8 years on they seem to be still paying for it or they were until they went bankrupt.
http://tdnpost.com/news/athens-olympics-venues-become-new-greek-ruins-48455.html
“The 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing could take 30 years to pay off the $471 million bill for the Bird’s Nest, while the Water Cube lost about $1 million last year even after public financial assistance and the addition of a water park.
And those are the facilities still in use. Venues for kayaking, beach volleyball, BMX, and baseball sit untouched since 2008. Signage and landscaping appear to have gone without maintenance since the closing ceremonies.” The online pictures of the decay are pretty depressing.
Looking beyond neglect of past Olympic property , look at some of the current damage. The London Olympics was built is in the midst of London’s 200,000 Pakistani residents . For the most part, they’re poor. They had to be moved. Some were moved to damp properties or forced into emergency accommodation in hostels. Individuals in private housing were denied re-housing altogether . Residents refusing move were legally evicted and refused legal aid.
The plans for housing after the Olympics are equally controversial with local residents complaining that the properties will be unaffordable and they are being priced out of the market.
I would expect the London Olympic property to deteriorate once the games are done….. just take a look at pictures of past Olympics. So,while we admire the prowess of these athletes, not all is noble behind the scenes.
—————————–
Catch you when I can, but, right now what I’m looking forward to is hugging my 2 & 5 year old granchildren , seeing my kids, parents , sibs & nieces & nephews.
In before Hillbilly says “Suiko, you never hold yourself accountable for being wrong”. That’s wrong also. Ratboy proved me wrong that the moderator called him out on name calling while saying he’s never done it. I thought the moderator called him out for always having false information and knowing nothing about politics and I admitted I was wrong. So now you can’t say that Hillbilly.

OUCH!
LONDON — A Swiss soccer player was expelled from the Olympics on Monday for his threatening and racist message on Twitter about South Koreans. The comments by Michel Morganella came hours after Switzerland lost to South Korea.
Morganella “discriminated against, insulted and violated the dignity of the South Korea football team as well as the South Korean people,” Swiss Olympic team chief Gian Gilli said through a translator at a news conference. He said the player was stripped of his Olympic accreditation.
Morganella is the second athlete kicked off a London Olympics team for offensive Twitter comments, following Greek triple jumper Voula Papachristou.
He posted the message after playing in the 2-1 loss against South Korea on Sunday. He said in the tweet that South Koreans “can go burn” and referred to them as a “bunch of mongoloids.”
The 23-year-old player later released a contrite statement through Swiss Olympic.
“I am sincerely sorry for the people of South Korea, for the players, but equally for the Swiss delegation and Swiss football in general. It’s clear that I’m accepting the consequences.”
“After the disappointing result and the reaction from Korea that followed, I made a huge error,” Morganella added.
Can’t we all just get along?
@@@@ Sicilian Papa
Please take a break. You are over working yourself.
Hi Sicilian Papa,
I wasn’t talking about welfare.
Hillbilly, suiko is still dodging you. I don’t think you will ever get to make that bet. He won’t step up, he never has.

suiko, what are you 6 years old? Your use of Wowwww,Lol, Ahahahah is pathetic. Do you think this helps your argument, oh wait there is no argument just your pathetic spin. The problem with people with an IQ of a carrot is they don’t know they have the IQ of a carrot. Pls go away.
Sicilian Papa, you use their, there and they’re anyway you want. Your posts will make more sense than suiko’s by a mile. Actually, his posts make no sense so the bar is set low.
