WWE Smackdown was Froiday's top cable original, with a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating, down from a 0.9 last week. For Better Or Worse came in second with a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating, down from an 0.8 last week.. Viewership, and the cable line-up, was impacted by the Olympic Opening Ceremony, which aired on NBC.
We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our primary source. If you don't see your show it wasn't in that top 100 list.

Nickelodeon has been going down as a whole, not a day to day basis, and both Nickelodeon and Disney shows make the list regularly. The only true thing you said is Disney is ahead of Nickelodeon.

I’m not sure Disney’s live-action shows would fit in Nickelodeon’s half and half animated / live-action schedule.
I forgot about LOK, Disney would take it. Also, I think it’s ridiculous that Nickelodeon never reruns it, it’s a good-rated show!

nick does not repeat korra because it helps their other channel nicktoons get good ratings they did the same thing with the last airbender after the series finale aired on nick they sent it to nicktoons and it did really good there

The fact that the top rated cable program of the night was a rerun of Family Guy is a little embarrassing. I wonder if TBS is happy with those numbers for For Better or For Worse. I’m sure USA isn’t happy with Common Law’s numbers, but i suppose both were up against the olympics.

Lol yeah. That suprised me too, 20 straight comments about childrens channels, that said its alright, they’re not breaking any rules or causing any harm.
Anyway, Nielsen viewers don’t seem to like Lost Girl, probably too mature for them.
If Nickelodeon or Disney wins total day kinda depends on Good Luck Charlie, Shake It Up, and Fred 3′s ratings. Guess we’ll have to wait till tomorrow. Nickelodeon also aired a new episode of Penguins Of Madagascar, but never promoted it.

Yeah. I believe Lost Girl was moved in the hope it would draw in new viewers, when in reality the existing viewers just followed the show to Friday.
That said it won’t have any effect on Season 4(Should one be made) renewal will come from the performance of the Canadian broadcast alone.
Syfy just buys each additional season off the network.
I wonder what Sara Bibel thinks about these children show comments dominating this board.

Yeah I know the Canadian ones are the important ones as far as getting a renewal. I would imagine though as long as it continues steadily at that .4 ratings level Syfy will keep buying more eps. That’s is the same range both Haven and Merlin were at they were renewed although Sanctuary was cancelled in that range so I guess it’s still up in the air.

What harm are they doing? None at all. I stopped watching childrens channels in my mid/late teens but it doesn’t mean other people can’t enjoy them and post about them too.
These posters are no different to the hundreds of CW fans that swarm the network ratings posts Robert and Bill and other admin do when the new TV season starts.
Infact a typical topic can be filled with almost 200 comments about the CW shows alone. 30 or so on a cable topic about childrens cartoons is nothing and really not a cause for complaint.
At least in my opinion.
