That didn't take long. In the end dating show 3 didn't even last as long as its name. After only two low-rated episodes, CBS has pulled the plug and pulled 3 from the schedule. Sure, the second episode went up against NBC's Olympics coverage, but so did 3's lead-in Big Brother and it still managed to do nearly four times as well  with adults 18-49.  Instead, CBS will air repeats of its drama series at 9pm for the remainder of the summer season.

    @Hattie C,

    Unfortunately “reality” shows are cheaper to produce than scripted shows. If the cost was the same I think we’d see a lot less of them.

    TISNF!

    I’m glad. I gave the first episode a chance–but it was extremely boring. Hmmm, wonder what all those ladies are gonna do when they find out they have to break all their dates and move out of that house? Thanks CBS for getting rid of an extremely lame show! :-)

    I THINK CBS MADE A BIG MISTAKE ON THIS ONE,THAT SHOW 3 WOULD HAVE ENDED UP A BIG HIT IF THEY WOULD HAVE LET IT PLAY OUT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    I really enjoyed it. I would have liked to see all the episodes. There must have only been 5 or 6 in all anyway. I think that people would have liked it if they had actually watched it. I hope CBS brings it back so those who did watch can see the end. I was looking forward to the next show. What a bummer.

    As so many others have already made fun of, ‘3’ didn’t even last 3 episodes.

    I’m not surprised. The show was just a reality-documentary type of program, rather than a competition. FOX’s Take Me Out was more interesting, because it was an actual game show. Even though the ratings for Take Me Out were low, they were still heaps better than ‘3’.

    CBS should consider bringing back game shows to fill in summer slots on their schedule. We need a new season of Million Dollar Password or Power of 10, or one of the many other game shows CBS could’ve picked up but didn’t (I’m looking at you The Cube).

    That’s a bummer I was really enjoying the show. :-(

    Very upset this has been cancelled even if ratings were low. I liked the real people. Better than the Bachelor franchise.
