   Why should it matter? The Closer is ending no matter its ratings. It can get 3 millions and 0.5 in the demo and it still won’t matter.

   TNT always had higher total viewers. Even shows that they canceled had high total viewers numbers for cable. See Raising The Bar for example.

   It seems cable shows are less affected by the Olympics than network shows. True Blood, Breaking Bad and The Closer all held up nicely. Perception did as bad as the previous weeks.

   Correction: The Closer didn’t just hold up nicely, it wasn’t affected at all by the Olympics vs last week (or maybe its ratings would have been higher if they weren’t on).

   @disney rocks BTR wasn’t new. FIO is a daily game show. Do you expect the show to get 15 million viewers per episode. Fred: The show was of course going to have viewer numbers because the movie bombed.

    Don’t worry about grammar, as long as people can understand you, it’s not a problem.

    I use my phone sometimes when traveling when commenting here, or twitter and have made my fair share of mistakes in that area lol.

    Whoa, that is low for Warehouse 13 and Alphas, expected a drop as it always happens second episode, but not this low, hopefully when Olympics is over it will go up and thank god Warehouse 13 is renewed for 20 so probably next summer too, so good chance to grow.

    Would like to see Warehouse 13 get enough episodes to get to syndication numbers, 59 ordered, 29 to go, do-able.

    And really gotten into Alphas, after not watching at all last season, marathoned the whole 1st season and S02E01 in the last few days before this ep aired and really like it, Go Rachel, so hope it goes up, they have renewed lower but they were cheaper exported shows.

    Also, Teen Wolf was soooooo good. Best episode of the show I have ever seen.
    SPOILER ALERT!!

    I wonder what Alisons’ opinion will be about Derek and her mom when she realises that him scratching her was just an accident because he was just trying to save Scott who was dying at the hands of her Mother. So long Mrs. Argent, you were so brilliantly scary, i know it was last week but still.

    It is funny Love and hip hop repeats ratings for original would probably get show renewed, also Single Ladies repeats might even do the same although scripted is dearer probably so its a maybe for me on that but still, repeat ratings would give it a maybe, why is VH1 taking so long to renew those shows, don’t really watch but with ratings like that against the Olympics no less, it should be a given.

    Ok does the amount of viewers matter for TNT? The closer got near 6 mil viewers that has to count for something, right?
    yes. it means a lot of them are collecting Social Security.

    Sooooo sad about Perception. I love the show. But I watched it last night with a very good friend, also an actor, and although we both were very impressed with McCormack (who’s just plain freakin’ terrific as an actor), my friend was deeply turned off by the very bland brunette who plays the female lead (the fibbie.) She disliked her so much that she found she had trouble watching the show at all and said she wouldn’t watch it again. I don’t think the woman is anything more than very boring, but… It kills me, because while both the major fibbies are so bland they’re awful, the other actors are very good indeed, especially the guy who plays Lewicki and the blonde hallucination. I don’t care! I love love love the show.

    Teen Wolf is incredibly entretaining, well acted, and the CGI effects have improved, it’s the schedule that prevents growth in audience & demo.

    One of the episodes of The Closer last night that you just love. They aren’t all like this but when they are, one remembers why everyone was wild about this show for years. What a remarkable ensemble cast!!
