   I’m not a fan of 3 hour Raw… it was actually very boring for the exception that the stage caught on fire.

   What nonsense. No show in years on the network has hit 1.0, a 0.6-0.9, and around 1.6-2million and over is considered decent.

   Besides the occasional Face Off episode, and WWE Smackdown now and then, everything has been 0.8 and under.

   You seem like a very negative person in general, judging by your posts on this topic.

   I got the impression that Bunheads was intended to draw more viewers to Family. The concept seemed to be that the show would draw from what used to be the demo for Gilmore Girls. Clearly, that hasn’t happened. Based on Nick’s numbers, there aren’t a whole lot of viewers watching anything on Family and that’s the problem. Unless you’re really committed to Family’s fairly small roster of shows, it takes a special effort to switch over from other channels like TNT which offer a broader range of popular shows. In one week, Bunheads lost 457k viewers. This leads me to conclude that it’s becoming a show that people only watch when there’s nothing else on. They don’t even seem to DVR it. I’m interested in seeing how much Family’s other primetime shows drop. If the results are similar, I’d have to conclude that Bunheads is simply on the wrong network and that it will never reach its full potential on Family. That would be unfortunate because the show itself is developing into something really unique.

   ok Im sorry to say this for those who love Bunheads but yes I am happy to see it have 1.12, I need Jane by design to be renew, sorry just gotta be on my shows team. Season 2 for Jane By Design please.

   I am happy Single Ladies is doing so well, im shock Vh1 hasnt given it a season 3 yet.

   @ Fernando….Single Ladies has 12 or 13 episodes this season, VH1 100% will renew, the numbers are WAY higher then last year. It’s up from a 1.0 demo to 1.3-1.4 for weeks now. It’s viewers are up from 1.8m to 2.4m

   The show has seen very big increases across the board, week to week….there is ZERO chance it won’t get renewed!

   I’m only counting scripted dramas on ABC Family. I don’t watch M&J or Baby Daddy(both of which I know started off strong last month, but have steadily fallen). I did forget about S@B. However, Secret Life still does better on a regular basis than TLG, Jane By Design and Bunheads. The sad truth is that none of ABC Family’s shows do well besides PLL. S@B is coming back from a 6 month hiatus in September. They already had a huge drop in ratings when they returned from a 3 month hiatus in January. TLG won’t be back until January of 2013, after a 10 month hiatus. I’m not too optimistic about either of those shows doing very well when the return, especially TLG. With all that said, ratings for Bunheads and Secret Life last night were terrible.

   I think Olympics hit TSLOTAT and Bunheads last night, as someone said….maybe MIOBI fans were watching the gymnastics?

    Prediction for Bunheads: This program topped out at 1.64 MM viewers and a 0.6 demo for its first two episodes. And it’s ratings have been been slammed twice during the last three weeks. I assume the same will happen again next week because of the Olympics. So, unless the last two episodes are comparable to episode 6 – 1.58 MM viewers; 0.58 demo – I’d say it’ll be cancelled. Even then, it’ll be under performing. Unlike Jane, Bunheads is a marquee project and so I’d have expected it to be at 2 MM viewers and at least a 0.8 demo by episode 10.

    +1 on not being optimistic about TLG’s return. But one thing to note about S@B — when they came back from their hiatus in January it was after 5 months, not 3 — I know, I was DYING for it to come back! And they were not only up against all the mid-season premieres on networks, they went head-to-head against the 2 biggest behemoths in the demo — Glee and American Idol. And yeah, they took a big hit, but still pulled a 1.7 – 1.8 million every week. ABC Family’s shows this summer have NO competition and they’re doing well below that — except for, as you mentioned, PLL. So I hope ABC Family sees S@B as performing well — I need that show to keep going and going and going!

    I disagree with you about Switched @ Birth. ABC Family has been hype-ing the heck out of it, and a TCA award won’t exactly hurt it. I doubt it will go under the 0.7/0.8 range.

    Also, Baby Daddy and M & J have been pretty steady at 0.7 and 0.6 for pretty mich the whole summer, except for one week when all of ABC Family was down.

    I do agree with you about The Lying Game, though. With its already dismal ratings it can’t survive a 10-month hiatus between seasons.

    Obviously Bunheads. JBD had the two highest-rated shows on the network as lead-ins, and it still got dismal ratings. Bunheads gets a veteran on its last legs (also one that it has little in common with) and still gets ratings that are, as a whole, better than JBD. So Bunheads cracked a 0.4 against the Olympics. Don’t you think JBD had gotten a 0.4 at least once?

    the olympics are taking away from almost everyone… the next 2 weeks are kind of pointless (no pun intended) to judge ratings

    Alphas and Warehouse begun to die last season. September’s ratings were awful. Now they just are ending to die. But Warehouse still has a chance for a last season.

    I think this was the most-watched Adventure Time ever. The “Fionna and Cake” special had 3.3 million viewers.

    I wouldn’t call it a special, but this Adventure Time episode was a highly anticipated one. it was a long-awaited continuation of a romantic story arc the show began at the end of last season.

    WWE not doing bad for a 3 hour show, the first hour was over 4 million viewers against the Olympics but the product is so bad right now and TNA is better. It’s going to start really showing in the ratings if this trend continues.

    Monday Night Football is waiting to take over two weeks from now.

    Finally, Cartoon Network gets some praise-worthy ratings. Unfortunately, it was because of a special episode. Next week, it might be back to 2.2 million viewers. I’m hoping Scooby Doo: Mystery Inc. does well. Tom and Jerry did well in that time slot with about more than 2 million viewers per day. Plus, it’s a new episode. However, I also hope that Scooby Doo does move back to primetime. Cartoon Network needs all the help it can get on primetime. Maybe Thursday nights, since no other channel (other than probably Nicktoons, TeenNick, or Disney XD) airs anything special.

    @dennis why do you think alphas will be cancelled? there ratings are fine for syfy im more worried about Covert Affairs? what happened to that show, werent they 3-4 million last season?
