ANIMAL PLANET'S "GATOR BOYS" RENEWED FOR A SECOND SEASON

-- The GATOR BOYS Get Back To Action in the Deep South of Mississippi--

(New York, NY) - In its first hit season, Animal Planet's GATOR BOYS introduced us to Paul Bedard and Jimmy Riffle - two men who defy death capturing alligators with their bare hands. In season one, which averaged nearly 1 million viewers (958K, P2+), the GATOR BOYS wrangled many an ornery gator in their home state of Florida - relocating countless reptiles from locales such as master bedrooms and outdoor cafés to the safety of a gator farm. In 2013, the one-hour reality series will embark on its second season, taking the GATOR BOYS far from home as they tackle nuisance gator cases for the unwary residents of Mississippi.

It takes serious skill to do what the GATOR BOYS do. Paul is known for his commanding personality and unmatched expertise, capturing any-sized gator underwater with his bare hands. And Jimmy has been gator wrestling since he was 11-years-old, giving him the unmatched ability to handle nearly any dangerous reptile with ease.

In the second season of GATOR BOYS, Paul and Jimmy are fishes out of water - taking up residence at Gulf Coast Gator Ranch in Moss Point, Mississippi. The guys quickly learn that Mississippi gators won't be showing them any Southern hospitality - the reptiles are bigger and meaner, which means the captures are even wilder! The home of Gator Boys Alligator Rescue in Florida has run into issues with its lease so the guys take the show on the road; teaching a few willing Mississippians how to gator wrestle and continuing the rescue program on the steamy gulf coast.

GATOR BOYS is produced by Mike Mathis Productions. Dawn Sinsel is Executive Producer for Animal Planet. Mike Mathis, Brian Puterman and Eric Streit are Executive Producers for Mike Mathis Productions.

Am trying to contact Paul and Jimmy of Gator Boys. I like their show; I like the way they do things and I like the reason Why they do what they do. I was watching Gator Brothers on Animal Planet this afternoon, and it just does not compare to Gator Boys. I give Gator Boys my support and I hope they can continue in their efforts for animals. God Bless Paul and Jimmy.

I watch your show all the time. I enjoy your ideal of how to capture and rehabilitate alligators that have been injured by cruel practices. I’m also appalled by the ideal of Holiday park and camp ground. You provided a service to the community that was greatly needed and the powers that be are not going to see the error of their ways until it comes up and bites them in the ass, which I have no doubt is going to occur. With the snakes from the everglades, the tagoos( not sure if spelled correctly), and alligators, a crocodiles they are setting up the campers to be lunch. I’m sorry that you are leaving Florida and going to another area I feel its a big mistake for the community and Florida but good luck with your new location and continue doing what you do best capture, save and rehabilitate gators. Good Luck.

The Gator Boys are the best. I can’t believe the dill holes in Florida. Are they going to do the job now? I don’t think so. I am a fan so I will be waiting for next season. Good luck and God Bless to you guys!!!!!

What about all the terrific volunteers without whom the show wouldn’t be as successful? I wish them well, but I hope thatt perhaps in the future, Paul’s ego gets toned down a bit. I marvel that one of the cast hasn’t walked out on him! Perhaps that’s the real proof of their dedication to this nobel cause! Ease up Paul! And kudos to Jimmy, Chris, Stephanie & Tre!!

I love watching Paul and Jimmy, love the show! I am from Florida, now live in Cincinnati, and the show brings back memories of Florida. All the volunteers are great too! All the different personalities are what make the show fun to watch. Can’t wait till the second season. Sorry to hear they had to relocate but will make it even more interesting now in Mississippi.Keep coming my way, would love to bring my 14 yr old to see a show of the “Gator Boys”. Keep making this great show! Great thing you are doing for the alligators too.

Csome anybody tell me where we can see a live show? We love the Gator Boys and can’t wait until the next season. My 5 year old daughter is a huge fan and “wants to be just like Ashley when she grows up so she can wrestle gators”. Since live shows are not done in Florida anymore, Where can we see one at? We would love to see a live show but it would have to be with the Gator boys or she wouldn’t be satisfied!!!

My family too are huge fans of the Gator Boys. We were just at Holiday Park 4 weeks ago and saw Mike doing the alligator wrestling show. We also saw Tre giving airboat rides. My friend went the following week and saw Chris and Ashley. We called Holiday Park before we went to find out what Gator Boy was there and they were happy to tell us. Paul happend to be away doing a triathalon. Good luck if anyone makes a trip there.
