CBS could go with Person Of Interest after the SB, was a top show in ratings for 1st season

Huh? Person of Interest averaged a 2.9; The Big Bang Theory averaged a 5.0 and 2 Broke Girls a 4.1.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see PoI after the AFC Championship, but it would be a huge waste to use the Super Bowl lead-in on it.

Thanks for info, did pretty good, think that is a MuchMusic high.

Mark Pedowitz translation from his comment about The L.A. Complex:

“This show is extremely cheap for us, and we are sick of having repeats on throughout the summer, and even though the ratings are crap it is so cheap we can put up with the crap ratings plus at least there is something new to watch and scripted”

    Ok, thats that.

I really enjoy that show, disagree with earlier comment that is eventually going to grow into big hit, it won’t 99.9% guarantee it won’t. and don’t take the 0.1% to mean anything.

It is cheap enough to keep around and acceptable enough for summer, simple as. Only reason it might continue, on the CW past these episodes.

TBBT&2BG after SB and POI after AFC Championship.

Tonight will be one more BIG night for NBC. Adrian win best 100 m for USA. First win for USA since hm may be 20-25 years. Big big drama. The margin was 0.01.

And next female MP version missy franklin take second GOLD and 3 olimpics medal.

Question for anyone that might know ,
I noticed that in Gymnastics the All Around , and each of the apparatus events are done on separate nights , was that how it was done 4 years ago in China?
Asking because it would be nice if they had the various apparatus events all on one night, and it seems that the are just trying to take the high profile events and stretch them out just to draw in viewers every night.

Why is Masterchef second and NCIS third? Masterchef got 0.9 and NCIS got 1.0.

These producers and writers for LAC are unrealistic, they’re equivalent to 5th graders skipping to highschool, just too immature and naive, so weak, last week. Casting director should be have corrective eye surgery because this is one of the most unattractive casts ever assembled. I don’t want to sound so negative towards fellow Canadians but when they put out half assed crap to the people on a international stage and mess up so bad, you need to check yo self and learn what it is to have pride. Now go and hide and come out when you’re ready to actually work, little children.

I hope, they keep it on the CW, because, as time goes on, I’m sure, more people will start watching it… I didn’t start watching, 7th Heaven, til, like either, the 4th or 5th season… So, just have to give it time.

I’m surprised so many people here say they like L.A. Complex. I tried watching the show several times, and IMO it is nasty bad!

Hasn’t TBBT been on for four or five seasons? Why would CBS promote an older show by running it after the Super Bowl? My guess is they go for POI to boost it into the stratosphere.

@Panda I just love the opening paragraph from your linked article: “BEVERLY HILLS, CA–The president of The CW has no idea why The L.A. Complex is not drawing more viewers.”

As demonstrated by the LA Complex, Nikita and Hart of Dixie, Pedowitz has turned the CW into a place that’s focused on nothing other than turning a quick buck. Since Pedowitz knows he’s troweling out low budget drivel, it would appear more useful for him to stop uttering absurdities and start producing programs with some entertainment value.

LA COMPLEX is is so well done, im glad CW is sticking by it

  • Tom

Mr. Gorman: FYI. Pedowitz is doing a terrific job on his own when it comes to playing “[fan] excuse bingo” in addressing questions about why the L.A. Complex is on the CEW. I believe it was yesterday that I posted a comment referring to an interview in which he is quoted as saying that the L.A. Complex is doing extremely well on Hulu, CW.com and other online outlets for the show. Since he didn’t elaborate, I suspect he was blowing smoke in the same fashion as in the linked article posted by @ Panda. If you want to believe that Pedowitz is destined to elevate the CW brand, so be it. However, I’ve seen little evidence of that. And, to stay on point, I am boycotting the CW for polluting the airwaves and offending my sensibilities. Bingo!!
