Dallas was the number one cable original last night, earning a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating, up a tenth from last week's 0.7 adults 18-49 rating.Royal Pains came in second, also earning a 0.8, down two tenths from last week's 1.0 adults 18-49 rating.
We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our primary source, if you don't see your show it was not in that top 100 list.
The list below is long but you can use your browsers "find on page" feature (usually CTRL+F or CMD+F) to search - that's probably the easiest way to find Tuesday night's episode of Futurama

Pay no attention to Denis/Deniso. A troll who was banned from the Digital Spy forums. Yes some of us know who you are, (or is it AuntiesBoobs?) has had it in for Dallas from episode 1.
Fact remains its been commissioned for a second season and has held up well week after week. More so given the astonishing performance of the Olympics on NBC. Its coming back in January which must be a sign of confidence from TNT.
Whether the show runs for 25 episodes or 250 its just fun to have had it back and caught up with the Ewings all these years later.
Why are some people bashing DALLAS? It was the highest rated tonight in total viewers, and if you ignore the repeats of the first 5 shows, it was the highest rated ORIGINAL broadcast in the 18-49. I think that’s incredible! Apparently I’m missing something…
I think what they should do for ratings is this…only show cable channel original shows ratings & eliminate all the regular network shows from the list. just my opinion
@Phil 2804 I am a fan of Dallas and just as an fyi next episode is the season finale. They only have the 10 episodes this year. Next year they have 15 so they will be done till next summer.
I sure hope the Ben 10 Omniverse series premieres well Saturday on CN.
@ LB Dallas last week had a .7 in the demo not a 1.0 I think the week before was a .8 or .9 but again not a 1.0.
Just an observation but Wed. seems to be a weak cable night even with out the olympics. Sometimes 1.0 and 1.2 wins the night. If you look at Tuesday for example those figures rarely win the night only with the Olympics did a 1.2 win. Just an observation.
I love Dallas but someone mentioned about moving it and I would definately not move it to Tuesday as I think it would get hammered with the demos that I consistently see on Tuesday nights. What do you all think?
@ denis: It seems like you get glee from writing negative things about the show. That’s odd. Did someone on Dallas harm your family or something?
@Amanda: There’s an error. The article says, “…probably the easiest way to find Tuesday night’s episode of Futurama.” This is Wednesday night, not Tuesday. Futurama airs on Wednesdays and the ratings are for Wednesdays. Please fix. Thanks.
Meanwhile, on a different note, I wonder how much the ratings for the initial airing of Futurama matter, given that animation generally reruns very very well. Comedy Central surely enjoys feeding the syndication beast with these episodes and their first showing probably doesn’t even matter that much. The real question is — what are the aggregate ratings from several showings of each episode vs. the aggregate ratings for similar shows on other channels? We’ll probably never know.

Thank you Nick, Retired at 35 didn’t do well this week I’m worried
Thanks @Nick
just some perspective for novices as an ad exec at a major studio the so called coveted 18-49 demo means little truth is folks are working longer baby boomers are not retiring and going off to die at 65 like previous generations. consumerism is alive and well >55. As a result total viewers is nothing to sneeze at which is why any cable show 3M is a winner. Dallas is doing great as expected as word of mouth continues total viewers will be 3.5 to 4M for season 2 everyone in the industry is banking on it and is thrilled with the shows performance.
In what world can these people not watch more then 1 program? Why are people choosing Olympics over great regular shows? Just record both and FF through commercials. This is 2012
Dallas is a 30 year old scripted soap that is still beating the cable competition. GO DALLAS. Great new cast, great storyline that is relevant to today’s gas/oil lovers. Renewed for 15 more episodes. Dallas needs a better lead-in than reruns of The Mentalist!
I think Retired at 35 is funny I don’t know why the ratings are so low. I don’t understand why Tv Land ratings are so low this year.
Dallas is doing well, it is establishing itself with a solid fanbase and should take off in-between season 2 and 3. the original struggles during the first few seasons, taking off towards the end of season 2 and back then there were about 24-26 episodes per season. The shortage of episodes actually makes it a far better show as there is more focussed screentime for key leads. My only gripe is that they seem to be digging at rehashed storylines, JR Jnr in prison, the murder angle, hospital visits, pregnancy storyline. The Venezuelan angle made for a possible main lead-in but it was quickly hushed up. I know some actors are either rather old or not in great health but they should be able to push more dramatic twists on viewers. I dont want to see dream sequences or alien abductions though. Please!
