So sad that someone goes out to shoot and kill someone just because they have different ideals and religion than you. The shooter is an idiot he probably thought the Sikh people were Muslims.

*New intelligence reveals Iran closer to attaining nuclear weapon than previously thought
Western diplomat who asked not to be named says U.S, Britain, France, Germany and Israel agree on that assessment.
According to the source, this assessment began to take shape in February, when Iran refused to allow inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency to visit the base at Parchin, where it is believed Iran is carrying out part of the research and development of its military nuclear program.
Hillbilly, “Been there done that. It didn’t work. Well i should say it didn’t work as promised. How many more times do you suggest it be done before you consider it a failure? Just keep borrowing money (raising the debt & interests payments on said debt) to spend on states (who over promised & over spent) is like giving a drunk a case of beer hoping it will help him stop drinking. TIA”
So, do you think the recession had anything to do with the states financial problems or did every state in the union spend like a “drunken sailor”? Also, define fiscal. When Pinochet took over Chile in 1973 he basically eliminated unions so they didn’t have to pay decent wages to workers. They were able to undercut them on every level. He also eliminated any safety nets and government programs. He nearly privatized everything in his path from schools, pensions, municipalities, just about every single industry. Before he seized Chile to install his neoliberal policies along with the Chicago boys, the poverty level was around what it is now in the US (16/17%). Now since he practically eliminated all government in every capacity and handed over everything to private companies you say the country’s poverty levels must have went way down? Productivity must have just went way up and trickle down success to everyone, right? The country’s poverty rate jumped to 50% which is HALF the country that suddenly fell below the poverty line. Unemployment skyrocketed. So something is missing here. Eliminating government programs and privatizing them does not lower poverty it creates more poverty. Half the country could not afford the private services.
Also, Ireland has double digit unemployment and they have no choice but to endorse austerity so it doesn’t seem like austerity measures in any of the countries that have established them has helped their unemployment rate. Their poverty levels have increased significantly. Why on earth would we want to follow their lead especially since it is not necessary in this country?
thank you coffee steve
I see Jeff is spreading his liberal BS as usual, what else is new
Love that electoral outlook Gibson, thanks!
I saw that piece today on the electoral landslide with so many variations with President Obama winning, only a couple of scenarios for poor Mitt. But I’m not taking anything for granted!!
Jeff, you are a typical liberal, make absurd claims, then when someone challenges them, resort to personal attacks, and if that doesn’t work then, move onto a new claim.
Erick, you are saying pretty much the same exact thing someone said yesterday but under a different name…..makes you go HMMMMMMMMMM.
Sicilian Papa, “I am talking about the crushing progressive debt.”
Seems like we have a case of selective memory. The crushing debt was from the recession and bad economic policy that started long before Obama reached office. Also, the recession hit states in 2008 so why would we go back to those spending levels? That makes no sense because unemployment alone would cause spending to go up. Poverty also causes spending to go up.
You say, “Lets cut welfare programs that promote bad behavior. Lets go to a system were almost everyone is on their own.” You would have loved Pinochet’s policies only they drove poverty to unspoken levels for many years until he decided to put in some social spending near the end of his career. Maybe, he got nice in his old age;)
Of course it didn’t hurt when Chile *gulp* nationalized their natural resources and made a mint of money to return to their country instead of giving it to investors to speculate away in a puff of smoke.
Whats new?? It’s cable news ratings for Friday and you are still an idiot.
That’s all!
@suiko, yep!
The name changes, but the behavior is consistent. All knuckleheads!
Anyone seen my 4 million dollar winning lottery ticket? I seem to have mis-placed it
Only 90 days until we all get to sit in front of our big screens and watch the networks make complete utter baffoons of themselves again.
