NBC Leads Among Adults 18-49 and with Total Viewers In Week 46 Ending August 5, 2012

In week 46 of the broadcast television season ending Sunday, August 5, 2012, NBC was number one among adults 18-49 with a 10.2 rating average, driven by Olympics coverage. Univision was second with a 1.3 rating average. CBS was number three with a 1.0 rating average.  FOX took fourth, earning a 0.9 rating average. ABC was fifth with a 0.8 average. The CW finished last with a 0.2 adults 18-49 rating average.

NBC won the week with total viewers, averaging 32.16 million viewers, far ahead of second place CBS with 4.16 million viewers. Univision was third with 3.38  million, followed by ABC with 2.81 million, FOX with 2.18 million, and the CW with 0.62 million.

Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.279 million adults 18-49.
