THE GOLD MEDAL-WINNING U.S. WOMEN’S OLYMPIC GYMNASTICS TEAM TO VISIT CBS’ “Late Show with DAVID LETTERMAN,”
TUESDAY, AUGUST 14
NEW YORK, August 7 – The entire U.S. Women’s Olympic Gymnastics team, who took home the first team all-around gold medal for the U.S since 1996 at the 2012 Summer Olympic games in London, will visit the Late Show with DAVID LETTERMAN Tuesday, Aug. 14 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The “Fierce Five” team of Gabrielle Douglas, Jordyn Wieber, McKayla Maroney, Kyla Ross and Alexandra Raisman have also had success on the individual medal front – Douglas scored a gold medal in the women’s individual gymnastics all-around, Maroney won silver in the women’s vault, and team captain Raisman took home gold in the floor exercise individual and bronze in the balance beam event.
The Late Show with DAVID LETTERMAN is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated. Barbara Gaines, Matt Roberts, Jude Brennan, Maria Pope, Eric Stangel, Justin Stangel and Rob Burnett are the executive producers.
