   Rizzoli and Isles was a repeat. Why the worries on a repeat? This does not count against them. They have been steady this season 1.0 and more recently 1.1-1.2 in the demo. I believe they are one of TNT’s highest rated steady demo shows behind Falling Skies who gets 1.2-1.3. I dont think a repeat hurts them. TNT renewed them for a season 4 like after 4 episodes aired that should tell everyone how TNT feels about R&I. Now F&B i can agree maybe in trouble.

   good to see Pretty Little Liars holding steady. Last nights episode was really good. Thats really bad news to see Hollywood Heights is moving to Teen Nick. I really hope they put it on there website.

   Pretty Little Liars was never in any danger of going anywhere. The fact that it held up so well during the Olympics is bad news for the ABC Family shows that did drop so much however. It proves not every show does drop. Bunheads, Jane and Secret Life now all need zero competition to even hit their median.

   In all fairness, the Olympics is the only competition PLL has. I know Secret Life has competition from Bachelor Pad and Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. Not sure about Bunheads. Jane By Design has its season finale last week.

    We really don’t know anything about Hollywood Heights’s chances because there is nothing else like it on Nick@Nite. There’s nothing to compare it to. It’s just a matter of whether it makes money, which we don’t know because we don’t know the cost of production and the ad rates. Also, being at 8 pm on a teen channel (TeenNick) as oppsed to 9 pm on an adult channel (N@N) completely changes the ball game. This move could benifit it a lot.

    I don’t think Secret Life is up against Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. Secret Life is at 8 pm and I think L&HHA is at 9 pm.

    Nope. Love and Hip Hop Atlanta airs at 8. Huge competition for Secret Life, believe it or not. I know a lot of people that watch both shows. Lately, they’ve been watching Love and Hip Hop live and dvr’ing Secret Life.

    I think Secret Life’s sixth season is dependent on whether the creator and cast want to do it. I think ABC Family would be happy to give it that send off, more to syndicate. BH was burned by ABC Family last year when they didn’t make the show she did for them. She might be ready to move on. But I think it will be up to her.
    PLL is the big star for the network. Everything else is in flux, but I believe they keep Bunheads, because they even gave Jane and Lying Game another shot with equally bad ratings, and because of the relationship and stature of ASP. And I think they keep Switched at Birth. It got a Critics Choice Award – the only time that has ever happened for this network. It wins awards from the disability community. It’s a quality show. Jane, Lying Game, Secret Life, and Bunheads are not winning huge awards from critics any time soon.

    Oops. My bad. But I’m not surprised that L&HH is big competition for Secret Life. They both cater to the same audience and L&HHA is very successful.

    The Secret Life cast is contracted through 6 seasons, from what I understand.

    Unless they drop drastically, renewals are certain for Secret Life and Switched At Birth. They are the third (maybe fourth) and second-most watched shows on the network. Not because of awards and alll that other hoo-hah. Although they won’t hurt, they won’t help either.

    PLL, if that is true, then they’ve all been mentally preparing for six. They will get their sixth. Lying Game and Jane both had their chance to grow, they failed… they will give that same chance to Bunheads, because of the relationship, and because they don’t have options.

    Love and Hip Hop is not competition for Secret Life.

    How is Love & Hip Hop not competition for Secret Life? They both aim for an audience of 12-34 yr. old girls/women. They must have a big overlap.

    When PLL is on in the winter, it has plenty of competition so it obviously has a very loyal fanbase.
