I luvs SHARK week…
@Ralph Hahn
I know, you’re buddies with everyone, so I won’t put you into this
I’ve genuinely got along with everyone I have ever met. I have also figured out, if you read between the lines you’ll know the real person. People just find it easier to let out their frustrations on forums like this because they don’t have to hold back.
I flat truly believe that just about everyone, right or left on here are pretty much middle of the road in their true beliefs. Heck even the politician’s play just for the camera but in their hearts don’t believe half of what they spew. And psssst…We all know it’s true
I don’t mind people having fun and even the ones that just come in here at times and call me stupid, Te*a Bag*ger, Right Wing Nut etc. It just gives me something to laugh at. It honestly does not bother me at all. Only Nancy Pelosi enacts and emotion in me, one of amazment that she can walk and talk at the same time.
JUST DON”T MAKE FUN OF COFFEE!!!
@Usnretiredx2
If you peep in tonight, Just a thought, and I know you’ll know what I mean by this, the new moon phases for the next 2 months are
August 17-21st. September 14-18th
If it doesn’t happen by then, I think it won’t until the election is over, and the news is growing quiet over there too, like the calm before the storm. I just wonder if he has enough support from his inner circle.
@coffee Steve
Very first teaser on Star Trek 2 is out, looks like The Botany Bay & Khan to me.
It’s on YouTube

“there are “few occasions where” the two disagreed”
So liberals see that as ‘many’ or 1 or 2 ?
The Five number 1 in the money demo.
Chalk one up for the good guys. The EPA is out of control.
Federal appeals court sides with Texas against EPA
Sounds like they got their excuse making ideas from Nobama. This one tops anything Nobama has used so far.

China’s People’s Daily newspaper topped off its coverage of the London Olympics on Monday pronouncing that the Communist Party’s leadership had sent congratulations to the country’s Olympic team.
Then the Communist Party mouthpiece suggested that the Chinese shouldn’t compete with United States because Westerners have bigger chests and heads.
Hello All,
Back from service. It was sad but very nice. My son has handled loosing his father with such grace and maturity. He had many friends that drove over 200 miles to be at the service. They will never know how much that meant to him. My husband speaking of my ex said To be remembered as he was, he had to have lived a memorable life. Even though we couldn’t make it work, I had to agree, he lived a good and memorable life. So sad he died too young.
I am thrilled with the Ryan selection. He has taken some votes I do not agree with but at least I think/hope the issues will be addressed honestly and directly. IF it means that we loose the election, I would rather loose that way. We sent money immediately we were so happy with the selection.
Good Morning Everyone
I kept seeing Sharks while sleeping
@Jeff
Yep, it is Botany Bay & Khan, and I can’t wait thill the movie is released.
@Hillbilly
On your EPA story, the whole thing got started a couple of years ago when the administration started attacking Oil & Coal. Problem is the EPA is only holding certain types of companies accountable.
Example is, they are attacking Oil refineries and chemical companies for certain gases, but landfills emit more than 50 times the gases the EPA is blocking permits for those dealing with Oil, and the chemical companies that supply the Reformulated gas companies.
Now the EPA is simply making up false claims against fracking shale gas. Every study done shows its safe, but that’s not stopping this administration.
@letmethink
My sympathy on your son’s loss, and yours. As all of us who have been through divorce know it can get a little complicated on these matters. I have attended a few services as well for former in-laws; I knew them for years and remained friends with all of them.
Thanks CS, I too remained friendly with ex in laws but hadn’t seen most of them in years. It was great to see them and it seemed to mean a lot to them that I was there. They have been so wonderful to my son. For that alone I would always love them. I hope your wife is doing well after the death of her father.
@letmethink
Thank you, my wife is doing well, she is from a very close and strong family with faith added. It helped she got to spend alot of time with him during the past weeks leading to his passing.
Up and over,
Perhaps you just can’t count, might be a conservative thing. There are a lot more than 1 or 2.
A growing number? When more people see whats is in the budget a lot more Republicans will cry the day they voted for the worst radical budget proposal in history.
CS, we live in the big middle of the Barnett Shale. We have two wells on our property. I am sure nothing is without some hazard. But we have had no problems and we saw extreme caution while they were drilling. Now you hardly know anything is there. By contrast, the wind turbines we passed near Sweetwater, TX are a blight on the land. They produce so little energy for the cost and area they consume. I addition to that, lots of land is disrupted trying to move that energy to other areas. If you have never seen miles and miles and miles of the wind turbines, you can not imagine the destruction. The simple fact is that unless we want to live draconian lives, we need energy. We can not run this country on hope and change, fairly dust and algae. Natural Gas is such a cheap, clean, abundant source of energy, I don’t understand what it isn’t being supported.
Early Start/Starting Point still can’t break 200. Morning Joe is still slipping. I tuned into MJ briefly this AM but Matthews was on so no watching MJ today. Absolutely can not stomach that man. In years past, I enjoyed his Hard Ball program. What in the heck happened to him? Do you think it is ideology or is he getting some pay off by being so biased?
@letmethink
I recently saw a report on the wind turbines. If it was true, at least 48% of them are either shut down or not working or having major problems. And where is PETA? The number of birds dying because of them is staggering. But nope, not a peep from them. Must not fit thier agenda.
Fracking and natural gas are the future in the foreseeable future. I have never in my life seen an administration fight tooth and nail against domestic energy independence as this one has. Romney needs to hit this hard and speak of it at every stop and every interview he has. It’s a winning one.
In fact he is in Ohio today speaking at a coal background.
CS–absolutely agree. That seems like a very strange place for him to speak since he has basically shut down the coal industry. He even told us during his campaign that is what he would do.
Weel, gotta mow before it gets too hot. Unfortunately we are still in the middle of a heat wave. Send us some 80 degree days if you have any to spare.
Morning all.
A slight dip in temperatures here in Dallas this day. May get some rain today, but as of late only areas around N Dallas have received rain. FT Worth and Grapevine received a damaging thunderstorm Saturday nite.
Grapevine has a large lake next to it an after the storm large number of boats were damaged or destroyed.
