Hell On Wheels second season premiered to 2.5 million viewers and 793,000 adults 18-49 (a 0.6 rating), down significantly from last November’s first season premiere which drew 4.3 million and a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating. Of course, the season one premiere had the benefit of a huge lead-in from The Walking Dead, but last night’s results were also down a bit from the season one finale last January that didn’t have The Walking Dead as a lead-in and drew 2.9 million viewers and a 0.7 rating with adults 18-49.
Love Hell On Wheels, big Western fan. I’ve watched every episode thus far and will be so disappointed if the show is not renewed. It’s the only series I watch currently on AMC.
loved every minute and can’t wait til Season 3. Compared to reality shows, I’m positively giddy to see something else
I enjoyed season one and two. Sad to see Lily’s character (killed) written off the show in season two……Anyone know if it’s coming back for a third season and if yes, when that will be?
I don’t know what some of these people are talking about Hell on Wheels not worth watching it is A Great Western Drama series to come around in a long time and I love the show , last night’s final to season two ended not the way I would have liked but, its a Great show, I think the younger generation could care less about a show like this because they don’t know what a good show is from watching the Jersey Shore.
This series is excellent! I loved the season finale. Hope it is renewed. Acting is fantastic and the story line is really good. Mount is a hunk. Can’t wait for more….
I don’t like this show. I’m not surprised it gets mediocre ratings.

I love Hell on Wheels,i am sure that Dish dropping AMC is what dropped the ratings!hope to see 3rd seanso,watched every show.I also bought the dvd of season 1 and as soon as the 2nd season hit the stores i will buy it!!!
