New York, NY – August 14, 2012 – NBC’s top rated show “America’s Got Talent” will welcome two-time Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas to an already action-packed results show on Wednesday, August 15 (9-10 p.m. ET.) Douglas returns from the London games with a gold medal in the team gymnastic competition and in the individual all-around competition.

Wednesday’s results show will also feature an exclusive look at a day in the life of judge Howard Stern. American pop duo Karmin will perform a mash-up of their platinum hit single “Brokenhearted” and their new single “Hello.”

NBC will air a special one-hour highlights show from 8-9 p.m. ET tomorrow night recapping Tuesday’s YouTube Snapple show. Highlights will include performances from the YouTube community's fan-selected act and 11 additional YouTube acts chosen by the show.

    To be charitable, last night’s YouTube round was underwhelming. That was a bad restart after the the Olympics hiatus.
    I believe these YouTube performers should be the first live show, with winners getting to ‘quarterfinals’ instead of directly to the semi-finals.

    They need all of the numbers they can get but I already predicted before that Gabby and McKayla Maroney would be used on people’s programs for ratings.

    Is Gabby going to “perform” a gymnastics routine?

    To me, there were only three standouts last night: Clint Carvalho, Bria Kelly, and Academy of Villains, the latter being the only GREAT act. I am hoping these three are among the four that are voted through.

    That having been said, to JR, I would have to say you’re right in that Gabby Douglas would perform a gymnastics routine. I mean, what else could I think of that she would do?
