NFL Preseason Football was the top cable performer Monday night, earning a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating. Love and Hip Hop Atlanta was Monday's top scripted cable original with a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating, up from a 1.7 last week.
We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our primary source. If you don’t see an original episode of a show here, it’s because it wasn’t in that list.

Great night for the Closer!! Outstanding episode, too. One of the best ever. I was looking forward to Major Crimes, but, oddly, without Brenda AND Gabriel AND Pope, it was a very colorless show. I love Mary McDonnell, but she needs someone to push against. The only real joy is that Tao is still there. Flynn and Provenza just cannot carry this show. I’m hoping it will pick up.
Glad to see Teen Wolf up in demo, but I wanted them to go up to or over 2 million viewers.
Does anybody know how Teen Wolf did with its target demo?
Good that The Closer hit 9 million and a series high and Major Crimes hit 7 million as the highest cable premiere of 2012. I was watchin Secret Life and Love & Hip Hop Atlanta yesterday until my T.V. went out.

We never know how Teen Wolf does in the target unless MTV puts out a press release or someone awesome gives us numbers, hehe. But I assume it does well enough.
Daily Show got a strong boost from Pattinson’s appearance. Up 60% from last Monday’s show among 18-49ers and almost 50% in viewers.
Any numbers for gallery girls on Bravo last night?
Even in the preseason, the NFL is a ratings factor. You know about all those rumors of an 18-game season and eliminating two preseason games to accomodate? May as well keep the preseason at four games and the regular season at 16 the way NFL ratings have trended.

The NFL is the most popular not just sport but event in america. Its more important than the presedential race. A terrible preseason game had 5 million viewers. WoW!

Thanks Robert. I wish I were a fly on the wall at ABC Family because Bunheads dropped by 32k viewers yesterday evening. That’s the second lowest viewer total of the nine episodes that have aired. The demo didn’t change, but I doubt if this is what the suits had in mind when they greenlit this program. The final installment of the the ten episode order airs next Monday evening. So, unless the executives see some potential for growing the viewership that isn’t apparent from the current ratings, I can only speculate that Bunheads will be cancelled.

No one said Teen Wolf was in the same league as Buffy. It was said that Teen Wolf has certain similarities and parallels to Buffy The Vampire Slayer that Buffy fans (like myself for example) would like. Plus, it’s got that witty humor, raw depth in character emotions, and that core group of characters who are well fleshed out and equally important and useful in the show’s overall plot.
It also takes on Buffy’s seasonal theme of having a big bad for the season aiming to take them down at the end. Teen Wolf adds to all of this by bringing in extra suspense and mystery as well as a much more darker and sexier tone to the series.
It’s one that will surprise people if they gave it a shot.
