   Ah of course! Sorry Episodes airs Mondays here in Canada and I forgot it was Sunday in the US.
   However I had read elsewhere (obviously incorrectly) that the second series was the same length as the first – 7 eps.
   VERY pleased to find out there are another couple to come.

   Finally RHONY is climbing back up in the ratings. There is a lot of competition for it on Monday nights, however. The real housewives shows are used to being on the top or closer to the top on their respective nights. Hopefully NY can hang in there – I think it is one of the best seasons and it is really getting going now.

   Its almost frightening how correct I am about Syfy shows, I said last week that Alphas was dead and lo and behold.

   I’ll bet Alphas will add a lot of viewers for the upcoming episodes featuring “Geek Goddess” Summer Glau. Sadly, judging from the previews, it looks like she will appear without those killer highlights she had in her hair last season. Fortunately, her character’s tats remain.

   Alphas rated terribly. Below a million viewers and a .4 in the demo. I think it is going to be cancelled. I am sure that Grimm took away some of its viewers. Good to see Teen Wolf finish with a solid .8. I am excited for season 3.

   R&I had indeed a higher series premiere. Around 7.5 million and 1.6 in the demo out of a very similar The Closer lead-in at that time.

   As long as Teen Wolf doesn’t drop below .6 it’s safe, the show got much better on season 2.

    Please don’t let Secret Life & Bunheads go below a million viewers!!!! If they do, Bunheads will get cancelled and when Secret Life is on break, there gonna announce the final season.

    @Dillan: it means unless it’s in the 100 list or there’s a press release (and that’s very unlikely) you won’t get any next day ratings from us (or The Futon Critic) since Teen Nick isn’t included in what TVBill sends us.

    I don’t believe that not going below one million viewers is Bunhead’s only problem. The program only drew 1.64 million viewers and a 0.60 demo during its first two episodes and never made it back to even that modest level. The Olympics had something to do with that, but judging by yesterday’s numbers, it looks like a lot of viewers have simply switched off the show for good. One thing that hurt the show is the relatively slow pace at which the storyline has been evolving. There’s been some criticism of that in the media and in this forum but nothing has changed. Don’t get me wrong. I like the show, but my impression was that ABC Family was looking for Bunheads to attain ratings closer to Pretty Little Liars. Instead, the show is essentially circling the drain. So don’t get your hopes up.

    How did Hollywood Heights do on its first night on TeenNick (8pm)?

    Also, could we see how My Wife and Kids did in HH’s old slot on Nick at Nite (9pm and 9:30pm)?

    Highly unlikely, Alphas has no history of growth in viewers during its run, and to be honest the guest star means nothing when people dont like the show, well Nielsen viewers.

    Example, Stargate Universe had under 1 million for most of its run, with Robert Carlyle and Lou Diamond Phillips in a lot of episodes.

    What has happened to Secret Life??..although I dont watch it I remember when the series was pulling in 2-3 million viewers per episode. Bunheads is not gonna do any better..no matter where they stick it on the schedule. Either the network loves the show as is or I wouldn’t be surprised if it does get cancelled to make room for new or returning shows on ABC FAMILY..its ashame.

    As far as TEEN WOLF..im surprised the finale didn’t pull higher ratings in both viewers and demo..but the show does have an extremely loyal fanbase and the numbers are more than enough to continue the series on MTV..Im happy to see the fans of the show getting a larger 3rd season.

    @Rob60990 Shame on you for unearthing the myth known to sci fi wonks everywhere as the “Summer Glau Curse”. There are numerous articles on the net debunking this scurrilous attack our Goddesses good name. The final verdict is that Summer has had the repeated misfortune of being cast in shows that have been doomed from the get go. So, to repeat my previous point: Alphas will rise in the ratings whenever Summer Glau makes a guest appearance.
