True Blood was Sunday's top cable program with a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating, down from a 2.7 last week. The Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne came in second with a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating.

If you watched earlier seasons you see the Russell E. was a King in an area and is one of the oldest vampires around. The fans loved him and so even though he had been silvered and buried he was brought back. His storyline in the series has been connected to the Authority and to the werewolves. Many believe Lilith was the beginning of the vampire in legend and that has been used in True Blood. Also Sookie is connected to fairies and has been all along. Terry was a soldier in Iraq and they killed some of the civilians and the woman he shot cursed them. It was a way of putting something more into Terry’s storyline. An Efrit is a type of Jinn which is connected to Islamic beliefs. It made sense. Each character has their own life and because there are enough of them they have some divergent stories that go on. I guess they couldn’t do much more with Hoyt so he is going to Alaska. The novels this is based on has always been more than horror but fantasy with many supernatural beings in them. The vampires are predominant but there is a mix of fantasy creatures in this story.
