A&E has pulled the plug on Gene Simmons Family Jewels after 7 seasons and 160 episodes. In a statement the company said "We could not be more proud of the unparalleled run of Gene Simmons Family Jewels”.

The Simmons family also released a statement, saying "With Kiss on tour and with my other business commitments, we have decided to draw the final curtain on our show. It has been a wonderful, life-altering experience for our family, and after seven successful seasons, we feel it’s time to move on."

  • Jeff (Canada)

    Wow, so they didn’t even get a ‘finale’ episode.

  • Chris

    First Dog the Bounty Hunter, now Gene Simmons Family Jewels.

    What kinds of reality shows will A&E put out now? Those were its two biggest hits among reality shows. A&E really will miss both shows.

  • The Mike Factor

    @Chris
    Not thinking so, have you seen the ratings for Storage Wars, Storage Wars: Texas, Intervention, Beyond Scared Straight, Hoarders, etc.?

  • AppleStinx

    I can tell who’s had the most plastic surgery: Gene! He’s beginning to look like Wayne Newton.

  • Mike

    the show sucked ever since they got married anyways. Gene got soft, like a little girly-man.

  • Bobby Socks

    Now Gene fades back into the woodwork.

  • Columbo

    About time the show got cancelled.

  • Connman

    Didn’t realize it lasted more than just the one season. Can’t see why…
