Definitions: Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

  • John A

Been a while since CW has been this high.

  • NYCLuVer

whoa!!!! a 0.5 for oh sit!

  • KS

Too bad Supernatural dropped down to 0.3. I was expecting 0.4. :(

  • Dennis

    Oh Sit! is a BEAST!!!!!!!

    lol

  • sue

I’m surprised one person watched Oh Sit.

  • Joel

Oh Sit! is kinda a hit! (:

  • Dennis

Oh Sit is the hit the cw have been waiting for :)

  • LLL

Not too shabby for Oh Sit.

  • BH

Oh Sit! is The CW’s highest rated series so far this summer!

  • charmedcraft

I watched maybe 15 minutes of Oh Sit! and I was done. It’s not cool how they knock each down to get to the front. That jerk was elbowing and throwing the females down to the ground hard; one girl almost got kicked in the head. I will not be watching anymore.

  • Brandy

I’m shocked at Ohsit ratings, I didn’t expect it get above a 0.3 at most with less than a million viewers.Hopefully it goes down from here and gets adjusted down. This makes me wonder how the also awful looking Next will do tonight and if OhSit will hold these numbers.

  • Douglas from Brazil

Good ratings for reruns of ABC comedy block it’s way better than NBC originals comedies!

  • Dana

hope big brother only continues to go up. its not a bad season

  • John A

Oh Sit will drop to 0.3 next week. Obviously wont stay that high.

  • Aerilyn

Oh Sit! premiered with some surprising results. I mean sure they aren’t HUGE, but for the CW and over the summer, these are the biggest numbers they’ve gotten! I think The Next might do alright for them too.

ALSO! Why is no one talking about the great retention Suburgatory held from its Modern Family lead in? This is the first time it has aired behind it in preps for its new slot starting October and I think it did really well. ABC are probably happy about that and hoping to see this transition over into the Fall/Spring results as well.

  • Sid

All of you are unbelievable! Before you say something good, here you are wishing a show nothing but bad ratings. How old are you people?!

The only reason CW is trying out shows like Oh Sit and The Next is so that they can use them to promote their upcoming Fall shows.

  • Jake

Oh Sit is a Masterpiece!! I was just so.. blown away I..I… can’t talk about it to much emotions.

  • Dennis

Oh Sit! changed my life <3

  • OMG

    @Aerilyn

True! The retention of Suburgatory (even though it is a repeat) from Modern Family is outstanding, and it may be a sign that they are actually quite compatible with each other. And I also noticed ABC aligning their repeats with the new timeslots just recently. Good that Big Brother went up, though it was down quite a bit from last season. Can’t be helped, the ones controlling the game are unlikeable, the likeable ones are getting picked off, and the floaters are just meh. There is something very odd about the house dynamics this season which is off. On a side note, Oh Sit! premiered quite well. Anything that is not DOA for CW is considered decent.

  • DonnaT

Oh Sit! was surprisingly good – not at all what I expected; the two main hosts were kinda lame but the one in the “trenches” was good and energetic. The music was great too, I guess future episodes will feature other guest musicians.
