    Are you sure it wasnt just drool??

    It as ugly man, I mean that old lady (even though shes old was not a Fox viewer, go figure) I mean that old lady threw a honker that was disgusting dude eeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwuuuuuuuuuu YUK!

    Weird polls today

    (republican leaning)Rasmussen has Obama up +1 but Gallop has Romney up +2(generally I would expect those numbers reversed)

    All that being said nobody answered my question on the last page. What exactly is Romney’s stance on medicare. From the sound of their new talking points it seems like he is saying they won’t touch it in anyway, which counteracts things he said before that they need to do something to make medicare solvent.

  • Coffee Steve

    @USNretiredx2

    Allot of activity in the streets of Israel, and refugees are flooding into Lebanon, and drills are now being done in the towns on a daily basis. It’s close my man, its close.

  • Coffee Steve

    @Mark
    Good Question Mark,

    One difference is the length of time for the cuts, the Romney Plan will stretch it out over a decade, plus you can get vouchers to take an option to keep Medicare or take your option to search and buy your own plan.

    You can read the entire plan, even download the pdf, if you just google the Romney-Ryan medicare plan, just make sure it’s a legit site, I’m on my tiny laptop or I’d get the link, its on my main computer, but the wife is playing farmville and I don;t feel like getting shot :-)

    It’s hard getting an idea on most issues where Romney stands. As I said when he talks he is very vague almost saying he won’t do anything

  • Mark

    Romney may try and claim he isn’t a politician but he sure talks like one basically. lol

    He already sounds like the rest of them in Washington :-)

    Fox News spreading lies around the world again. They were forced to make an on air retraction…

    http://training.tonyrobbins.com/1986/fox-news-retracts-and-corrects-false-news-statements-regarding-firewalk/

    Fox News Retracts and Corrects False News Statements Regarding Firewalk

    We are grateful that after researching the facts, Fox News made a rare on-air retraction and correction of their previous erroneous news reports that were unfortunately used as a source for so many false stories around the world.

    Here’s what Fox and Friends Steve Doocy said on the air this morning, Aug. 8:

    “During a recent segment concerning a Tony Robbins’ Fire walk experience in San Jose, California, we reported more than two dozen participants were hospitalized with burns. Well a few of the 6,000 received minor burns akin to a sunburn, they received on-site medical attention and continued to participate in the event. None were hospitalized and there were no reported third-degree burns. We understand news reports to the contrary were inaccurate. Now you know.”

    We hope if you know people who have the incorrect information you can point them to these facts or the story in the Huffington Post where the writer also actually checked the facts and clarified that the stories about the firewalk were inaccurate.

    Wishing for you all the best!

    Live with Passion!

    CNN needs some turning around stat!

  • Coffee Steve

    Thanks CA we appreciate it :-)

  • Mark

    @C.A.

    As much as I like to see FOX fall flat on their face, I’ll give them a free pass on the Tony Robbins walking on fire story.

    1. I seen that story on many other shows(claiming lots of injuries)
    2. I don’t think there was some warped political agenda behind it, it was more the “funny story of the day”

    BBL….

  • Former CNN Fan

    @applestinx
    Yep, Outfront topped the demo big time. Funny thing is, Ashleigh Banfield was fill in host. Burnett only gets good ratings when she has a decent sub. Get the hint CNN.

    The basic point of the article says that Ryan is putting blame on Obama for a GM plant that closed when Bush was in office

    *Pat Buchanan explains why Democrats abandon civility more than Republicans

    Buchanan :”For Democrats, many Democrats, politics is the be-all and end-all of this life. It’s the most important thing in their lives”

    Buchanan concluded that some activists on the left are so vicious about politics because politics is all they have in their lives.

    Accusations about a lack of civility are nothing new, and they are often flung back and forth between the left and the right. But Buchanan, the author of “Suicide of a Superpower: Will America Survive to 2025?” sees a distinct difference between how the two sides handle it.

    It’s where politics falls in the pecking order of liberals’ life-long priorities, he said, that drives their venom.

    “For Democrats, many Democrats, politics is the be-all and end-all of this life,” Buchanan said. “It’s the most important thing in their lives. And to lose that is to lose salvation, virtually.”

    “If your whole life is built around the political system in this world, etc. — and there’s a real sense of that.”

    Night Everyone, have a great evening

    Great link Mark!!

    Keep em coming!

    I think the only way to save CNN is to shut down for a month, fire everybody, hire some real journalist like Cooper and Blitzer then come back as CNN2 and spend a month promoting real News.
    —————————————–

    I think CNN’s best bet is to try be a down the line news network that reports real news. Try make itself the “credible” network that doesn’t have a politcal agenda. Try make shows that main goal is reporting the news in a serious fashion

    I think CNN lost alot of credibility in the 90s when they started reporting issues like the Bobbitt Case, OJ, etc nonstop for hours everyday

  • Jeff

    @Coffee, ah yes Pat Buchanan, the gold standard of civility. lol!!!

    I can think of many more folks that have abit more credibility than old Republican Conservative Pat.

    ;)
