Gee… CNN must have been taking a nap when it failed to report the Family Research Council shooting for almost 3 hours .

Alan Simpson: Paul Ryan speaks ‘hard truth’
Former Sen. Alan Simpson, co-chairman of the Simpson-Bowles commission on debt and deficit reduction, on Friday called Paul Ryan “a spokesman of hard truth against fakery.”
“He encourages me. Erskine [Bowles] and I felt he was one of the sharpest guys we dealt with,” Simpson said on Fox News. “He doesn’t have to have a staff member there feeding him stuff and little memos. He can go a half an hour without a note. He knows the issues.”

Former Navy SEAL Team Six Commander Says Special Ops Assault on Obama Is Just Beginning
In addition to more than a half dozen leaks , Mr. Zinke also pointed to White House leaks about the Bin Laden raid to a pair of filmmakers who are making a movie about the operation as something that was upsetting to military personnel.
According to Mr. Zinke, there are currently at least four other anti-Obama groups made up of former elite military operatives: Special Operations Speaks, Veterans for a Strong America, Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund Inc. and his group, Special Operations for America. He said he expects that number to climb. Because active-duty soldiers are barred from engaging in political activity, Mr. Zinke believes it is especially important for retired military personnel to speak up.
Special Operations for America’s upcoming plans include a television commercial. Mr. Zinke said the ad would be “edgy,” but wouldn’t be “a personal attack.”
“I don’t stoop to personal attacks,” he said. “You know, I’m not from Chicago. In Montana, we do things a little differently.”

As H.B. says , C’ya.
Tax cuts for the rich, medicare cuts for the old!!
@ibsles. I read everything u type and just wanted to say i couldnt agree with you more!! Your probably the smartest person on here. Just keep telling the truth and liberals keep shakin in the boots:)
@Suik … it’s the Virtue of Selfishness, the book by Ayn Rand that defines the ideology of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. Greed is good. Greed is right. Greed works.
It’s what they believe.
“I don’t stoop to personal attacks,” he said. “You know, I’m not from Chicago. In Montana, we do things a little differently.”

Hahaahahah, f*ck me. ‘I don’t stoop to personal attacks, other than insulting an entire United States city, and the people that just happen to live in that city.’ I just can’t take it anymore, I can’t take it, I can’t take it, I can’t take it
burn the whole thing down and start over

Agreed, the guy that literally just copies and pastes the contents of his E-Mail Inbox is the smartest person here. That’s really insightful, the way he doesn’t type his own words ever, and sometimes unintentionally posts spam mails.
if the 25-54 (000s) vote the way they ‘watch’ obama may lose…

for you boss1 pay attention to the last verse.
“if the 25-54 (000s) vote the way they ‘watch’ obama may lose…”

If the 25-54 year olds voted the way they watched, McCain would have won in 2008 with 70% of the vote.
Woo Hoo Early Start/Starting Point broke 200—–but it looks like most morning shows were up a bit. That show stinks on ice.
I don’t know what it will take to get CNN’s numbers up but the biased coverage they are presenting now will not do it. I long for a program that presents all the news. Example— the LSM gave little to no coverage of a group of Occupy that tried to blow up a bridge and the federal reserve. Pretty big news–huh?? Not to the LSM—CRICKETS!!! But they jump on the TEA Party at the first hint of any violence hoping to tie them to the violence. They always come up empty–but they keep trying. So glad the TEA Party is starting to fight back against the media that has become an arm of the DNC.
BTW, morning all. Hope you all have a great week end with rain and cooler weather.
Gooooooooooooood MORNING!!! What a fantastic day it is outside this morn 56 bright sunshine AHHHhhhhhhhh…. It’s great here letmethink
*‘The Tonight Show’ Lays Off 20 Staffers And Host Jay Leno Takes Pay Cut To Save Jobs
The Tonight Show has been and still is a cash cow for NBC. So what happened to merit the downsizing? “I don’t think ad sales are off. I just think the people who bought this company, Comcast, wants to go through everything at NBC and get their money back,” an NBC insider tells me. ”It’s hard to go through those kinds of cuts. It’s more a network issue than a late-night issue.
@twins fan … one good song deserves another. Listen to this when you hear Paul Ryan running around the country making the deceptive claim that the Republicans are actually the defenders of Medicare.

This is sad, allot of cities are becoming war zones and hardly a peep from the Media
*Pizzeria to no longer deliver in Detroit after dark…
DETROIT (CBS) Has it come to this? Yes it has, according to Joan McKenna, whose son Tim McKenna, 19, was shot while delivering pizza in Detroit.
*More California cities at risk of bankruptcy…
Moody’s: More Calif. cities at risk of bankruptcy
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — One of the nation’s top credit rating agencies said Friday that it expects more municipal bankruptcies and defaults in California, the nation’s largest issuer of municipal bonds.
Moody’s Investors Service said in a report that the growing fiscal distress in many California cities was putting bondholders at risk.
The service announced that it will undertake a wide-ranging review of municipal finances in the nation’s most populous state because of what it sees as a growing threat of insolvency.
The report has both investors and government leaders worried.
Hmmmmm… If you spend more than you have, you go bankrupt, simple enough huh?
Morning Boss Dude
I don’t care who ya are or the message, Da Boss is Da Boss in music. Man puts on one mother of a great live show.
Nice weekend morning. Hi,all.

That was an over the top comment, which , I find myself making about Chicago a lot . Just to clarify , those that live in the city except for making poor voting choices , bear none of the stigma. Not so with the politicians. “The truth is that the governor’s mansion and the city council chambers have a far worse crime rate than the worst ghetto in Chicago.” The political machine has been around since the Chicago fire, & , it is rotten to the core. ” Chicago the most corrupt city in the country, that more than 1,800 public officials have gone to federal prison in Illinois between 1973 and 2010, and that that corruption costs the taxpayers more than $500 million a year.”
Anti-Corruption Report Number 5

Just this week , Illinois House expels member accused of bribery
The vote was 100-6 , & , you guessed it, Derrick Smith , represents Chicago.
Shortly after his colleagues voted 100-6 to expel him, Smith took to his lawyer’s office 200 miles away in Chicago vowing to fight a federal bribery charge
The Chicago slam ranks a smidge lower on the scale than exposing government secrets to our enemies . In some cases, that is called treason. Do I believe ALL the leaks are coming from the White House? I’m a bit like Diane Feinstein … no, I don’t anymore. But it doesn’t help the White House’s cause, when they open themselves up to a Hollywood movie, a Pakistani medical doctor who aided U.S. intelligence officers in locating terrorist leader Osama bin Laden is in prison for 30 years , & , our intel leaks, by many , are called the worst in US history.
Morning D.D.
Can you believe the weather? They’re saying we will actually be below normal for August. Its fantastic!
Highs here for three days

YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
In one DAY, Mitt Romney makes 13 times more in income than I make in one YEAR. And, he pays 15% less in taxes than I do.
Magic.
@Coffee … At nearly 62 years of age, Springsteen recently performed a 4 hour and six minute concert, without an intermission. And, that doesn’t include the 30 minutes he came out on stage before his band to play 5 songs with his acoustic guitar. And in the past week, he rocked Fenway Park on consecutive nights.
@TheBoss1
I seen him in Indy a few years ago, 3 hours only one short break, he and Billy Joel we’re about the most high powered pop rock artist I have seen. The most intesnse of all of them was a group called 38 Special, I thought I’d have a heart attack by the time they left the stage LOL
I love how The Boss will have NOTHING to do with Chris Christy, will not speak to him, will not give him access to his dressing room, will not allow The Gov, to be anywhere around him at any of the events. Gov. Christy is one of the top speakers at the GOP convention, Govenor of his home state, and a known powerhouse in the GOP, and yet, The Boss won’t give him the time of day.
Many educated artists with amazing talent will have nothing to do with ignorance, bigotry, & religious fantasist. Let’s hope Gov. Christy changes or perhaps quits pandering to his extreme radical base, so that maybe some day the two can hang out and a “big” fan can meet the fantastic talented performer he enjoys.
Let’s face it, being stuck with Hank Williams jr. Would be like watching paint dry compared to The Boss.
