Just for the Record:: One reason for wealthy people to keep money off shore legally is to protect assets from a litigiuos society that can sue anybody for anything and attach their domestic asstets that other countries will not comply with…Romney being smart is why we need him when most of the libs just cant fathom why anyone would keep money there if they werent hiding anything…

US taxpayers bail out California homeowners, as banks fail to pay their share
The program, known as the Hardest Hit Housing Market fund, is part of a $7.6 billion federal effort to help underwater homeowners in 18 states. California received $2 billion. But when banks and lenders who service loans refused to write down even a small portion of the negative equity loans, California decided to use the taxpayer money to pay 100 percent of the mortgage reduction.
Richard Green, a professor of real estate at the University of Southern California, said it’s not what taxpayers signed up for.
I think taxpayers would be furious at the idea that everybody gets completely off the hook for this,” Green said

*An 11 mile stretch of the Mississippi River has been closed due to low water near Greenville, Mississippi.
There have been some periodic closings in the last 10 days for a short time, but now this is a lengthier closing.
Also, get this, a “Quicksand” warning is also in effect there.
I think the sad thing about Akin’s comments is their is a few people on the far christian conservative right who probably would agree with his comments and those are the ones who are pushing abrtion legislation

Every program on Fox News since morning has covered the Akin comments, including ‘The Five’. Shep just covered it.

You must have missed my comments earlier. I know many Christian Conservatives and what you are saying is ignorant and narrow-minded. We encourge people to consider the life of the child. I have been a member and have known people from many different congregations and I have never heard one member express that kind of thinking. Sexual assualt is one of the worst crimes a person can experience and the scars are usally long lasting.
If there are only a few of them what makes you think they can move legislation? They would have to be many in number to get the votes. Sure almost all Christian Conservatives are pro life and darn proud of it. I will stand with innocent unborn any day. A###tion is grisly practice. Ghoulish if you really think about it.

I don’t think abrtion is right myself but what about having big government stay out of peoples lives, I wish those tea partiers can be consistent on their views when it comes to big government(that’s why it’s hard to take their claims seriously when they use that as a rally cry).
