Love and Hip Hop Atlanta and NFL Pre-Season Football tied for Monday's number 1 cable program, with both earning a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating. Love and Hip Hop Atlanta was up two tenths from a 1.8 last week.
We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our primary source. If you don’t see an original episode of a show here, it’s because it wasn’t in that list.

Yay! Bunheads did good for it’s finale!
Is good result for Major Crimes or not?
Wow Major Crimes took a big hit. Down I think .3 in the demo and almost 2 million in total viewers. I guess that was to be expected though??
Bunheads did really well for its finale, and picked back up some lost viewers. It was a great finale too, with an ending that felt really cold (in a good way).
By the way, any numbers for the premiere of The Inbetweeners I thought it was great! Somewhat like Awkward’s younger brother. Never saw the UK version, so I can’t compare it, but I’m glad. For the show, by itself, was pretty good and I want to see more. Hope it did okay.
Syfy abruptly moved Alphas to a new timeslot (8 p.m. Eastern) and it still did better in the demo than last week, so that’s promising. Too bad the 10 p.m. rebroadcast didn’t show up in these ratings though. I hope the combined ratings will be enough to get a renewal. It’s an underrated show overall. (Last night’s episode was kind of lame though.)
Perhaps The Inbetweeners could do like Awkward’s first season and start off small, but really climb as the season progresses. Maybe!

To be expected yes, it still is a bad result. It just skew too old.
Perception won’t last past its 2nd season. TnT usually renews all their 1st season shows for 2nd seasons. Men of a Certain Age & Dark Blue are 2 other examples I can think of with bad 1st season ratings that got renewed for a 2nd and were then cancelled. That drop for Major Crimes was expected.
Not bad for Bunheads. It holds all of Secret Life’s lead-in and builds in viewers.
The ratings for Bunheads rebounded nicely for the finale of the first 10 episode order. Up by 374k viewers and one demo point. That’s terrific because the finale was arguably the best of the series. Also, considering the ending, it would have killed me if the show hadn’t received a back order. I’m really looking forward to having Bunheads back again next year.
Inbetweeners US must have bombed.
Major Crimes may skew old but look… it is doing better than DALLAS.

@John A Which would be unfortunate, because the show is actually pretty good! Hopefully, it’ll pick up through the course of the season like Awkward did in Season 1 (and is currently doing again).

Hopefully The Inbetweeners bombed! I’m sick of MTV ruining classic British hits! The only US adaptation I enjoy from a UK series is Shameless.
Just curious with the renewal of Perception with around a .7 over the past few episodes is Franklin and Bash being renewed too? My friend likes that show personally it is not for me but seeing Perception get renewed with similar rating made me wonder.

I agree that it was a shame to see The Inbetweeners recreated (even though the pilot turned out to be nowhere near as bad as I feared), but a rating for the premiere would reflect the hype/promotion more than it would the quality.
While you can certainly blame the bad trailers, I think it’s important to note that a bad rating for the premiere suggests that the original British version of the show ALSO wouldn’t have done well in this position on MTV…
Yeah, that does not look good for Major Crimes being a new show; as time goes by shows skew older but it is only the second episode maybe it will tick up in the demo??
