ACTION-PACKED DOUBLE EVICTION NIGHT ON “Big Brother” SENDS MIKE “BOOGIE” MALIN AND ASHLEY IOCCO PACKING

Ian Won Live Head of Household Competition, Frank Won Live Power of Veto

New Head of Household Announced on Sunday, August 26

Last night, on a dramatic double eviction night for Big Brother, the Houseguests voted to evict Mike “Boogie” Malin, the 42-year-old restaurateur from Concord, N.H., who currently resides in Studio City, Calif., by a vote of 5-2.

Following the eviction ceremony, the Houseguests competed in a LIVE “Before or After” Head of Household competition, where they had to answer questions about the sequence of events that have occurred inside the Big Brother house. Ian won the competition, and immediately nominated Ashley and Frank.

The Houseguests then competed in the “Somewhere Over the Veto” Power of Veto competition, where they had to locate four-leaf clovers and veto symbols inside their individual ball pits. Frank won the competition and removed himself from the block. HOH Ian then nominated Joe as a replacement nominee.

During the second live vote of the evening, the Houseguests evicted Ashley Iocco, the 26-year-old mobile spray tanner from Pittsburgh, Pa., who currently resides in West Hollywood, Calif., by a vote of 5-1.

The Houseguests competed in a new HOH competition later that evening which will be featured during the Big Brother broadcast on Sunday, August 26 (8:00:30-8:59:30 PM, ET/PT).

BIG BROTHER is broadcast three nights weekly: Sundays (8:00:30-8:59:30 PM, ET/PT), Wednesdays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) and the LIVE eviction show hosted by Julie Chen on Thursdays (9:00-10:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT).

BIG BROTHER follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with more than 52 cameras and 95 microphones recording their every move, 24 hours a day. Each week, the Houseguests will vote someone out of the house. At the end, the last remaining Houseguest will receive the grand prize of $500,000.

BIG BROTHER is executive produced by Emmy Award-winning producer Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan for Fly on the Wall Entertainment, in association with Endemol U.S.A.

Yeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! About time they got rid of Evil Troll-Face Boogie!

As much as I don’t like Ashley, though, I was very sad to see her go. Especially now that Frank seems to be taking over for Boogie as the Grand High Lord Douchebag of BB14. The only reason he’s still around is because he’s the producers’ favorite (remember the Candy Counter Veto comp?)

  • PAAP

Yes, right its a legend in its own octogenarian cranium, because it has no mind to speak of, its bleached it away with those blond girlie products. What man @ 41 plus years of age, dyes its hairs that color or dyes it in the first place if its not covering up its grays in the shade of its natural hair color in the first place? What an Alzheimer Disease candidate this one is, without any doubt at all!!!

  • Brian

Seriously, for those of us who don’t watch live and dvr things please in the future refrain from adding spoilers in your headings that come up in people’s RSS readers!

  • taylor

good riddance boogie. the blatant rigging for frank is getting ridiculous, though. they need to step aside and let him leave. did you hear the audience booing when he won the veto (which he later admitted was RIGGED for him to win– both of his clovers were right next to each other)? america hates him! STOP RIGGING AND LET HIM LEAVE!

  • PHIL

@Brain BB happened last night, today is a new day. I hope Frank wins BB 14

  • PHIL

@taylor if that is the case he would have pulled out two

  • Jack S

Frank needs to go. After his goodbye message to Boogie last night I hope Ian wins.

  • Ricky

@taylor: I knew I wasn’t the only one hearing the booing! Just goes to show, nobody likes Frank anymore except the freaking producers. They’ve called him a cat with nine lives, a cockroach, etc. I call him a zombie. They need to shoot him in the head, double-tap, in order to evict him now. Even a backdooring might not be enough to do the trick.

  • PHIL

Dan will rat out Ian, watch and see.

  • taylor

@ PHIL — rules stated you could only take one clover at a time, so he only grabbed one then went back and grabbed the other.

He blatantly said on the feeds they were right next to each other.

  • taylor

@ RICKY — watch them be all set to backdoor him when Grodner when a sudden Pandora’s Box twist saves Frank! ;) I fully expect it to happen.

  • Ricky

@PHIL: Hmmm…Frank wouldn’t believe a word Dan says, so ratting out Ian probably wouldn’t work. Especially since Frank, like so many Dan-haters, is convinced that the guy is a hypocrite and a liar. Which he isn’t. I think the real reason people hate Dan so much is because he’s openly Catholic. They might feel like they’re being shown up.

  • Ricky

    @taylor: I know, right?

Or perhaps AG could try and save face in this whole mess and set up a Diamond Power of Veto, this time ACTUALLY ALLOWING AMERICA’S VOTE TO DECIDE WHO GETS IT (since I’m convinced the producers only set up the vote for the coaches to re-enter the game as a formality; any fool could see it was going to happen regardless of how America voted). And then America would give Britney or Ian or some floater like Joe or Jenn (whoever’s still around in the next two weeks)…yeah, but it would be a foolproof way to get Frank evicted if it’s used, so it ain’t gonna happen that way. :(

Too bad. The producers have got to learn to stop rigging the show so flagrantly.

And don’t forget, if they do open Pandora’s Box, then whoever is HOH will undoubtedly suffer for it. Especially since it’s general knowledge, after what happened to Porsche last year, that the HOH isn’t allowed to turn down the offer and refuse to open it.

  • Brian

    @PHIL

As a site that writes about television one would think they are aware of the multitudes of people who use a DVR to watch things the next day. While I have no problem with them reporting who was evicted, it is very common for feed readers and sites in general to put no actual spoilers in their headers.

  • Gabriel

SPOILERS IN THE TITLE? SERIOUSLY? ¬¬
    Thank you very much.

  • Lisa

If it’s already aired, it’s not a spoiler. Common sense.

I’m sorry Boogie is gone. He was entertaining.

  • Rina

Didn’t know Boogie was such a bully, looks like Frank is imitating him but I guess with a dad named Sid Vicious (okay I know that’s his wrestling name), the apple doesn’t fall far from the cart. I thought Dan was very cool and classy. Loved it!

  • psychic

I kind of thought Boogie was his last name.

  • PHIL

@Ricky Frank might believe Dan considering Ian voted for Boogie to leave and he nominated Frank to leave. Also, Boogie told Frank to watch his back around Ian

  • Melanie

Well, got rid of Boogie, but Frank wins veto AGAIN and removes himself from the block. He is the guy with nine lives, lol! Ian’s video message to Boogie was priceless, lol and Britney was funny too. Ashley was just to much of an airhead to me, but I think that was part of her strategy. Boy, her final “save me” speech to the other house guests, was very weird to say the least.
