I don’t watch anything on ABC except GH. The Chew is a disgusting show where everybody talks with their mouths full. ABC is really promoting the Chew because the bigwigs know they made a mistake by cancelling 2 beloved
    soaps.

The Spew? We will not be watching it, in this lifetime, or the next. There are hundreds if not thousands of eligible American chefs who would have made a far better show co-host than Mr. Batali. As one who spent many early years working in the restaurant business, together with waiters and waitresses whose very livelihood depends upon their tips earned, the multi-million dollar tip-skimming settlement agreement, to which Mr. Batali consented, belies the rank failure of due diligence having been performed on the part of ABC Disney in its having contracted with him in the first place. Any so-called soaps replacememt show is doomed on ABC, since millions upon millions of loyal viewers all across America, are boycotting all things ABC Disney (except for GH) pending the return of ONE LIFE TO LIVE and ALL MY CHILDREN to their respective audiences forthwith. It is way past time now for major Disney stockholders to be insisting that (a) either ABC countermand its cancellations of these programs, or (b) release them at fair market value to viable networks or production companies that can successfully produce them once again should ABC/D adamantly insist in refusing to do so contrary to all sound business judgement.

ABC is dead to me. It is NOT allowed in my house except for GH. Bring back our soaps or suffer the consequences ABC.

“AMC wasn’t that bad either, in fact if not for hideous writing it would have been freaking fantastic, but ABC/Disney canned it”

@Sara- are you really that much of a moron? The fact that it had Hideous writing and LOW ratings is the fact why ABC canned it. Do you even listen to your own words….??? And FV is nailing the final nails in the GH coffin as well. So get over it and do yourself a favor and stop watching badly scripted television!

WOW…seriously, I understand your being disappointed in AMC being cancelled, but that’s not the fault of the Chew. Personally I love shows that help me to be a better cook or improve my skills overall. The CHEW is lighthearted, and informative. It is one of my MUST WATCH shows everyday. As for Mario Batali and his lawsuit..he’s paying now for being the owner and not keeping a closer watch on his management and finances — shame on him.

Where was the Chew on Labor Day? I was looking forward to being home to watch. It figures people who have jobs miss out again.
