Thanks to Florida Voter ID Laws, Democratic Voter Registration Has Dried Up
This is why Democrats and Eric Holder are fighting so hard against voter ID laws. It stops Democrats from producing hundreds of thousands of fraudulent voter registrations.
Since a new set of state voting laws went into effect more than a year ago, the number of new Democrats registering in Florida has all but disappeared, according to a Times-Union review.
During the 13 months beginning July 1 the year before elections in 2004 and 2008, registered Democrats increased by an average of 209,425 voters. From 2011 to this year, that number was 11,365.
In Duval County alone there were about 13,000 new Democrats, meaning the rest of the state lost them.
Over that same time, the number of registered Republicans increased by 128,039, topping the average of 103,555 during the past two presidential cycles.
Overall, Democrats still hold a 445,794 statewide registration advantage.

SEAL Book Contradicts Obama Administration’s Official Account of How Bin Laden Died
SEAL book depicts Osama bin Laden shot on sight in hallway, contradicting original account
A firsthand account of the Navy SEAL raid that killed Osama bin Laden contradicts previous accounts by administration officials, raising questions as to whether the terror mastermind presented a clear threat when SEALs first fired upon him.
Bin Laden apparently was shot in the head when he looked out of his bedroom door into the top-floor hallway of his compound as SEALs rushed up a narrow stairwell in his direction, according to former Navy SEAL Matt Bissonnette, writing under the pseudonym Mark Owen in “No Easy Day.” The book is to be published next week by Penguin Group (USA)’s Dutton imprint.
Bissonnette says he was directly behind a point man going up the stairs in the pitch black hallway. Near the top, he said, he heard two shots, but the book doesn’t make it clear who fired them. He wrote that the point man had seen a man peeking out of a door on the right side of the hallway.
The author writes that the man ducked back into his bedroom and the SEALs followed, only to find the man crumpled on the floor in a pool of blood with a hole visible on the right side of his head and two women wailing over his body. Once they wiped the blood off his face, they were certain it was bin Laden.
Bissonnette says the point man pulled the two women out of the way and shoved them into a corner. He and the other SEALs trained their guns’ laser sights on bin Laden’s still-twitching body, shooting him several times until he lay motionless. The SEALs later found two weapons stored by the doorway, untouched, the author said.
Administration officials briefing reporters in the days after the May 2011 raid in Pakistan said the SEALs shot bin Laden only after he ducked back into the bedroom because they assumed he might be reaching for a weapon.

Nice to watch MSNBC. I’m glad they’re around to balance out the Fox Comedy News.
@ Jeff: Comcast/MSNBC from my inside sources will be cleaning house – after the election. Current TV will be beating down the door for the has beens.. They are official now known as The place that pushes Hate & Race daily..
@l”BS”les, you posted recently that Osama Bin Laden was dead way before the raid….so what is it??
You have to keep your silly propaganda straight.
@Ratboy
The main reason MSNBC has not really had that much of a bounce is because most of their viewers are Dems. They don’t really care about what’s going on at the Republican convention. Their numbers will should go way up next week with the Democratic convention. Now if they don’t go way up then Comcast should do some firing. First on the list should be the race baiter Alfred Shopton (misspelled on purpose) and next Obama’s boy Chris Matthews. Every time I watch these guys they’re talking about secret codes and dog whistles that only the righties understand. These guys are the biggest race instigators I’ve ever seen and both of them should be fired for saying these asinine things.
The fact the Obama is president proves the old saying that anyone can become president. And, that is sad.
The righties out in full force railing against MSNBC. Rave on, MSNBC, rave on. You’re doing something right when you piss off the righties soooo much like you do.
Rave on.
And, to all the righties who actually think the Republican Party is the defender of Medicare….
Trust none of what you hear and less of what you see.
MAGIC.
@Dave … you wrote, on purpose “Alfred Shopton.”
See, this is the type of childish bullsh*t that is just so kindergarten. It does absolutely nothing to convince the other side the legitimacy of your argument. In fact, is your argument so weak that you have to resort to this puerile behavior?
And, if you don’t know what puerile means, look it up because that is exactly what you are.
@Snap Tie … you wrote, “Comcast/MSNBC from my inside sources will be cleaning house – after the election.”
Rolling on the floor laughing my f*cking ass off.
I’ve been reading these predictions six months BEFORE Comcast took over. In fact, there was one f*cker on this site who posted the same sh*t day after day after day.
I’ll bet you one f*cking thousand dollars if you have the guts to lay down your money that you statement is absolutely untrue.
Here is John McCain telling us that we cannot get out of Afghanistan and that we cannot one dime out of the military budget. And, this is the party that has a debt clock ticking at their convention. And the party that has unpaid for tax cuts.
Does the word hypocrit have any meaning?
You guys bitching about Arthur Davis not being broadcast on MSNBC … if you want gavel-to-gavel coverage, watch C-SPAN.
You guys all got boners to have a black guy stand up and criticize Obama. What percent of the Republican delegates are people of color? Do you know the answer to that question?
@TheBoss
It always makes me laugh that the Republicans try to paint themselves as the party who will make tough fiscal choices, and yet at the same time they don’t want to cut 1 cent from military spending. that’s why it’s hard to take them seriously.
As much as I like McCain as a person, whenever he talks about how America conducts foreign policy, it is a huge reason why I won’t vote for them. he definitely falls under the neocon tent that wants to fund big Military Contractors through wasteful spending. it should be noted many of Romney’s foreign policy advisers are the same people who helped Bush(and that is a scary thought)
