  • Steve

So I’m thinking this will by SyFy’s first quarter even with no actual scifi on air (I don’t think “Haven” really counts…) I know they have new scifi in development, but not airing until the Spring?

  • Simon Jester

@Steve – Both WAREHOUSE 13 and ALPHAS are continuing to air in September in addition to HAVEN. Plus, there will be new episodes of BEING HUMAN and LOST GIRL (and maybe CONTINUUM) in January, well before spring.

  • N.J.G.

Uh-oh, no live Ghost Hunters show on Halloween night. GH fans will not be pleased. I must admit the GH Halloween Live shows (typically on to 1 or 2am eastern) had become a staple of my Halloween programming while trick or treators where at the door.

  • deborah

No live Ghost Hunters investigation on Halloween because of an idiotic Face Off finale?! I know one network I will NOT be watching on Halloween this year. SyFy, what on EARTH were you thinking?! You must know how many people tune in SyFy on Halloween JUST to see the live Ghost Hunters investigation! Stupid move, SyFy.

  • Lindsay

Why would you ever have some show that no one cares about and has nothing to do with Halloween on Halloween night, especially when you take away an amazing show like the Ghost Hunters Live investigation that everyone I know watches on Halloween night?? That is SO stupid! SyFy, you have increasingly sucked since changing your name to get “a different kind of fan”. Stop catering to your imaginary non-fanbase and do what your actual current fans want! If you lose us, you have no one!

  • Greg

I have given up. I will not be watching anymore.

  • Danielle

Like Face Off, but am not happy with that being on Halloween night instead of GH! Not happy!!!

  • Terri

I have watched Ghost Hunters for years! I am terribly disappointed it will not be on this year!! SyFy this is a big mistake… you just should not mess with some things… if it’s not broke…

  • Pissed off

Syfy you blow! I will not be watching that stupid face-off Halloween night! I will be watching Ghost Adventures on the travel channel!

  • Brooke

Like really me and my family always watch ghost hunters and since it wont be on live this halloween we aint watching syfy halloween night. Yall are going to lose alot of ratings and if I was all I would make it back to ghost hunters live instead of face off or have them at seprate times!

  • MrMax

I’m with all the posters here – no GH Live on Halloween is lame and I will not be watching that night.

  • MrBill

Bad mistake syfy.. GH is a great show for halloween. The only reason we watch TV that night. zbad mistake.

  • patty

I just told someone who loves GH to make sure they watch on halloween, its been a tradition in our house for years. I can’t believe its not on. And we sure aren’t going to watch whatever that other show is. I guess you can’t depend on anything any more.
    I am really disappointed

  • Adrian

    I just programmed sci fi channel OFF my tv !!!! Im D O N E !!!!

  • Big C

What the hell are yall thinking? Not doing another GH live this holloween for some other stupid show no one watchs. Who cares about that Face Off crap? The number 1 show on this channel is GH and this is how you thank the fans of it by showing another show on holloween in its traditional spot how stupid.

  • trinity

no GH live Halloween show? = FAIL
are you kidding me ? who is in charge of programming now? Idiots

    Face off BLOWS
and should have been canceled a couple seasons ago
you guys at syfy really know how to shoot yourselves in the foot.

  • pamela

I think it blows that you could not have worked around Jason this year and stillused the rest of the gang of Ghost Hunters to do the live Special for halloween!!!! I watch faceoff every week but that is not going to fly with the halloween tradition of Ghost Hunters and all the Fans!!!!!!!! This is the one time fo year that is special and you need a very special show with special people and that is Ghost Hunmters and Josh Gates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will not be watching your special this year and I have heard from many other people who will not be tuning in this year either. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That GH Fan

No GH Live? Come on, it’s become a Halloween tradition and one of the biggest draws of the year for us GH fans. Looks like I’m going out this Halloween instead. Screw “Face Off”.

  • not a happy fan
