Fox News was again proves who people trust for the truth. And the youth are starting to catch on to the MSNBC BS….5 times as many of the key demo watched Fox News over MSNBC….and I bet it gets worse for MSNBC as the election gets closer….

  • Marcus

@Stan T….The people who you think trust Fox news are Republicans. Dems. don’t turn to Fox News for the “truth”.

  • Sean

Where were MSNBC ratings four years ago for the convention?

  • Snap Tie

@ Sean: does it matter? There clocks were cleaned..

  • serg

Fox does well in ratings because it is the only tv outlet for the right wing fringe. The other networks have to split the liberal to moderate crowd. 1,421,945 viewers in 25-54 demo isn’t that impressive. Jwow & Snooki do better than Ryan & Mitt.

  • Sean

Just curious how far they have fallen since moving farther to the left. Their analysis is pretty laughable.

  • seinnasun

I will be anxious to see how many people and the age groups for the DNC convention..

Can’t we all just get along?

FACTCHECK.ORG said that Paul Ryans speech contained many lies. I get slamed by you guys wheneven I bring it up. Prove it. Prove it. Well then, I will post directly from Factcheck.Org. but I am sure it will not make a difference.

TAMPA, Fla. — Paul Ryan’s acceptance speech at the Republican convention contained several false claims and misleading statements. Delegates cheered as the vice presidential nominee:
?Accused President Obama’s health care law of funneling money away from Medicare “at the expense of the elderly.” In fact, Medicare’s chief actuary says the law “substantially improves” the system’s finances, and Ryan himself has embraced the same savings.
?Accused Obama of doing “exactly nothing” about recommendations of a bipartisan deficit commission — which Ryan himself helped scuttle.
?Claimed the American people were “cut out” of stimulus spending. Actually, more than a quarter of all stimulus dollars went for tax relief for workers.
?Faulted Obama for failing to deliver a 2008 campaign promise to keep a Wisconsin plant open. It closed less than a month before Obama took office.
?Blamed Obama for the loss of a AAA credit rating for the U.S. Actually, Standard & Poor’s blamed the downgrade on the uncompromising stands of both Republicans and Democrats.

    Another FNC BLOWOUT!

  • Doug

For those who are interested in stats rather than rhetoric:

FNC: +14% in viewers/-12 in demo
    MSNBC: -9/-36
    CNN: -64/-64

Overall, the convention is significantly less watched than in 2008.

Four years ago, 10-11pm (source: TVbtN)
    MSNBC: P2+ 3,277,000 … A25-54 1,301,000
    CNN: P2+ 6,114,000 … A25-54 2,696,000

(It was the night when Sarah Palin delivered her speech)

  • Suikostinger

Even Fox News is calling out Paul Ryans falsehood and deceiving in his speech.

  • Delimart

Well duh, of course Fox News is gonna lead… Only conservatives and republicans care about this convention..

  • Sean

WOW! Those numbers from four years ago are pretty telling!

When ‘Snooki & JWOWW’ takes a hit from the convention next week, we’ll know where its audience went, won’t we?

    No Kidding!

  • Former CNN Fan

What the heck happened to CNN? Oh yeah, I watched Wolf and Erin some last night. I know why people turned the channel.

  • Sia

FNC haters well see how your lame and pathetic DNC does on MSNBC well talk about this some more

  • Ronnie

Wait and see folks. The numbers for the DNC won’t change that much. I was checking this page 4 years back and there was hardly a difference in what is trending now. FNC will still dominate in viewers next week. What IS interesting is how MSNBC was DEAD LAST in the demo. Real curious to see if that holds up next week.

Democrats watch CNN and Republicans watch Fox News…its basically true…..;-)
