Absolutely! But so far not any has been so much sh** than Jersey Shore, so gotta be happy it ends! I can deal with American Idol, Voice, X Factor, Kardashians, and most realities, but this one got to my nerves because it was way too stupid, I would say it was the bottom low of television

  • Holly

“Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” rates as higher than Jersey Shore for you?

  • Mark

MTV Hasn’t been MTV for years. They need to put MTV to rest and change the name of the channel. The name of the channel shOULD be something that describes it as reality trash television.

  • steve

It boggles my mind why few people want a show to end so badly as its not like just because js is ending its going to help there fav show.

I think its the right time to end it I wouldnt be shocked if like its revived in a year or so with different cast

  • were123

What I meant with “the bottom low of television” is that it was the worst in quality, not rating xD

  • MartinLikesTarts79

Finally! I can now stop crying over people watching this crap rather than amazingly hard worked scripted programming. Seriously, this show is about guys and girls partying hard and getting into trouble for no reason at all, what’s good on that?

Making statements like that and displaying a FRINGE icon is never a good idea.

  • Holly

I’m sorry, I wasn’t clear. I was talking about quality as well.

  • 47th

Sounds extremely weird. It definitely must have come from them and against the channel’s wishes. We are getting one more season but not a ‘final’ season, as it was not recorded as a close-up, but rather a continuation.

I bet MTV will convince them to record a 2-hour special in the future, in the line of Geordie Shore’s Magaluf Madness.

By the way, Pauly D’s show was not renewed for more seasons, right?

  • toons

i wonder if the website (nothing against this website in particular) but if the website filtered out negative messages… how many would be left? lol

never saw JS but why do i care if other people like it

    Teen Mom gone – CHECK

    Jersey Shore gone – CHECK

The world will be a much improved place now.

  • Eric McInnis

And the angels sang a merry tune on this very day.

  • j

Teen Mom 2 is still on. I think the ratings for that are still great.
16 and Pregnant is still on too I believe.

I’m surprised a bit that this is the last season of Jersey Shore. It still towers above like 99% of cable programming. But I guess the cast wants to move on.

  • Dillan

So, MTV end Teen Mom and now Jersey Shore, their top rated shows.. I do not understand?

  • groove365

Don’t worry, the producers will be back with a new show in a year or two with another cast and possibly a new location.

This cast is getting too media savvy to do really stupid stuff anymore so it’s time to get a new one, might as well mix it up more and change locations too.

  • Lucazzy

    Yes! I hate Jersey Bore.

  • Richard Steven Hack

    I’d say “Thank God”…but I’m an atheist…

So I’ll say, “Thank the laws of chaos which have hitherto allowed this crap to be on the air and have now seen the light…” :-)

  • Richard Steven Hack

Oh, and if we can now get rid of all this musical ruminant evacuation… :-)

  • JR

    Amen for this decision.

  • OMG

This is nothing worth celebrating about. The truth is, Jersey Shore has won in the ratings, it has got six seasons, and it has got great ratings. So even though it will be the last season, the damage is done. It has already proven that people will take cheap “reality tv” with people famous for being famous, over those scripted shows with people at least trying to write well, direct well, and act well.

  • Chris

Hopefully the Kardashians will end with a beheading.
