NICKELODEON CURES BACK-TO-SCHOOL BLUES WITH A
DOSE OF SpongeBob SQUAREPANTS
Michael McKean (This is Spinal Tap; Planes, Trains & Automobiles) Lends Voice in Premiere of “License to Milkshake”
On Monday, September 3, SpongeBob’s adventures continue when Nickelodeon treats viewers to an all-day SpongeBob SquarePants marathon from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. with two brand-new episodes, “Squid Baby” and “The Good Krabby Name,” premiering at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT). During “Squid Baby,” Squidward hits his head and reverts to being a baby, and it’s up to SpongeBob and Patrick to take care of him. Next in “The Good Krabby Name,” Mr. Krabs wants all of Bikini Bottom to eat at the Krusty Krab, so SpongeBob and Patrick Go On an advertising blitz.
SpongeBob fans can continue to get their nautical fill throughout the week from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (ET/PT) with back-to-school episodes airing daily. This week of under the sea fun all leads up to the premiere of “License to Milkshake” featuring guest voice Michael McKean (This is Spinal Tap; Planes, Trains & Automobiles) on Friday, Sept. 7, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). During the episode, SpongeBob learns his milkshake license has expired and is forced to go back to the milkshake academy. McKean voices the academy instructor.

This sounds like a cheap attempt at ratings.
You known, if Nickelodeon actually aired its premieres of Nicktoons on Friday nights again, it could either beat Disney or take some viewers away from it. Just a thought
@Curtis.. Maybe, maybe not. But, I doubt it. Disney is already established on Fridays.
Why don’t they show marathons of shows like How to Rock or Fred the Show. Shows like those could do so well if they were given the chance.
@Kaylie
I totally agree with you if nickelodeon would air repeats (more than one) of how to rock and other shows, then the shows will do well with new premiers. Im starting to hate nickelodeon, because all their good shows are being canceled. Ex. Victorious and How To Rock.. But yet they still have fred.!! O and nickelodeon needs that marathon of spongebob to get viewers informed about You Gotta See Saturdays and they really need the ratings.. But i would still perfer to watch nickelodeon over disney..

im gonna miss how to rock and espically the music.!!!

does anybody think this will be a hit..?
@I luv Nickelodeon- think it will do better than most of the Nick junk- 2.8-4.5 million. Animation (mostly Sponngebob) are the only things holding Nick together.
I think the reason for all those shows leaving was because Nickelodeon took too many breaks from new episodes of all their live-action series and that may have hurt their prospective chances at renewal. What they should do is run new episodes for several weeks straight throughout the fall and early winter, take a break for the holiday season and air all the remaining episodes throughout the rest of the year. It gives them sufficient episodes to air throughout weekdays and spares them any chance of cancellation after only a handful of episodes.
@Kaylie How to Rock was canceled, FYI.
@Disney Rocks It will surely do better than most of the crappy animation on Disney. TMNT will be a hit. The show has huge adult and kid fan bases already.
My fall 2012 nick lineup:

8:00PM- Korra
8:30PM- TMNT

Saturday Night:

8PM – iCarly
8:30 – Victorious
9:00 – How To Rock
9:30 – BTR
Also forgot to add, the korra after Power Rangers on Saturday is a repeat.
Things Nick has done to prepare for this fall and 2013:
- 13 new programs
- Downgraded, President of Programming, and gave it to Someone else.
- (President of Animation) Fired (or “left”)
- Canceling: Victorious, How To Rock, Ending iCarly, Giving Noah, Ariana, Jennette their own shows.
Nickelodeon is trying really hard by doing anything they can. They’re trying to get all the old shows out of the way so they can have space for their new shows.
@NR2012
Then they should of canceled Btr, Supah ninjas, and Fred.! They should of kept victorious and how to rock.. O and I love ur opinion on the Friday line up.! I think that will do so well..
So that’s why they held out on airing new episodes of iCarly, Victorious, and BTR for so long!!!
I think Nickelodeon should bring back Friday Night Nicktoons.
7:00 – SpongeBob
7:30 – The Fairly Odd Parents / T.U.F.F. Puppy
8:00 – The Legend of Korra / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
8:30 – The Penguins of Madagascar

There is no reason for Nick to air cartoons on Saturday mornings.
