Pretty much everything on TV last night was adjusted down substantially due to local football coverage, but among new programming, Rookie Blue and Saving Hope were adjusted down six tenths, Wipeout was adjusted down half a ratings point, Big Brother was adjusted down four tenths, and The Next was adjusted down two tenths vs preliminary Thursday broadcast ratings. Final numbers for repeats and RNC coverage are also below.

wow…bet abc is regretting renewing rookie blue right now
Yep that looks a bit more like it!
Now we’re talking… However, The Next deserves bigger ratings. What a flop
Always wishing to see Saving Hope grow… it’s become far better than it was the first few eps.
Wipeout is having an awful season.
Any CBS convention numbers?
Bad numbers for Rookie Blue. Its meant to be a cheap canadian show but these numbers are awful.
“wow…bet abc is regretting renewing rookie blue right now”
Maybe not. It’s *really* cheap, two summers ago reportedly just $350k/episode for them, probably a bit more than that now. That’s less than what many broadcast reality shows cost.
“Any CBS convention numbers?”
Not that we saw. In the final ratings report we saw
BB was 9-11pm on CBS.there were no numbers for the CBS 10pm hour.RJ

If i recall from the preliminary numbers, they were slightly less than NBC, or were they slightly more? NBC and CBS were about even…the big winner of the night was FNC, with over 9 million viewers.

Are they sure? because my tv guide showed that BB was only an hour show…
First, I’m not Silvio from Brazil. I’m “other” Silvio, one that is jerk too – but not interested in politics.
Second, http://insidetv.ew.com has numbers for CBS too. Total viewers and A25-54, but not A18-49 :
10-11 p.m. Coverage
FNC: 9,057,093 viewers (2,575,383 in 25-54)
ABC: 4,442,908,000 viewers (1,612,407 in 25-54)
NBC: 3,847,498 viewers (1,463,902 in 25-54)
CBS: 3,729,691 viewers (1,506,553 in 25-54)
CNN: 2,327,376 viewers (903,838 in 25-54)
MSNBC: 1,876,459 viewers (625,712 in 25-54)
8-11 p.m. Primetime Coverage
FNC: 6,609,548 viewers (1,627,349 in 25-54)
CNN: 1,657,584 viewers (580,648 in 25-54)
MSNBC: 1,567,633 viewers (464,809 in 25-54)

More bad reading by me.
The final spreadsheet we received didn’t show BB as 2 hours, but it was simply *blank* for CBS in the 10pm hour. Not quite sure why that happened.
I wouldn’t make much of the Rookie Blue rating for last night. ABC was preempted for football in many of the bigger markets icluding: Philadephia, Houston, Washington DC, Detroit, Orlando, Las Vegas, Nashville and at least a dozen other smaller markets. So people in those cities who wanted to watch Rookie Blue couldn’t watch it because it wasn’t on. Maybe it was on at 1:00 AM in some markets or will be shown on Saturday night in others, but of course the numbers will be way down from a regular week when ABC has 99 to 100% coverage.
At least The Next is staying steady, I hope the show grows until the finale and gets a second season. Is a really nice competition show.
It seems like “Oh Sit” will remain the top rated show for the CW, until the fall shows launch.
;-( @ Wipeout & Rookie Blue.
Saving Hope actually OK considering football. Still renewed.
Sad to see The next doing so poorly b/c its the one reality singing show im enjoying. I have even grown out of my shame of admitting that. lol.
i watched big brother on a different channel last night due to football is that included in the numbers or no
There was football all over the broadcasters yesterday, why are people putting so much stock into these numbers?
Wow. Both Raising Hope and New Girl beat the NBC comedies in both demos and viewers. This is not even the regular night for both these programs.
Very sad that rookie blue so down, it’s so good and I was so mad that I couldnt watch it, cause of stupid preemption, I really hate football
