The ratings still suck, they only appear to be high because of NFL local games and the RNC over-run. The two ex producers Allison and Mich are hard at work with fixing the last HoH comp to make things happen in the house, true BB fans are NOT fooled by thier tricks. CBS should take notes from the best player ever in BB history (Dr. Will) and return the game to what it once was, and stop all the twists, and planted houseguests crap before it’s to late. BTW Allison and Mich, it is wrong to have a “special” person like Ian in the house, his rocking, snapping, and tippy toeing everywhere are his personal issues that should not be exploted for your show. It’s not right to make light of a person who is clearly hanicapped, shame on you two.

Wipeout has been renewed, so no problem. Next season, Jill returns: they’re getting the original Wipeout band back together.

I have to think the networks understand why these #s are so low. A show can’t help it if its preempted by football.

Glad to see BB dropping big time this year. Bad casting as most of the new people are mush brained or just outright uninteresting and a bad twist of the coaches coming in people could see coming a mile way.

I hope Survivor drops in the fall as well so they will get a hint to end the stunt casting of returning players unless its for an all out all star season.

It’s amusing how some people are claiming that Oh, Sit! is a big hit and The Next is a flop when their demos really aren’t very different. They’re both floppy, but they’re slightly better than putting on reruns of certain CW shows that shall not be named and would repeat in the toilet, or the summer scripted shows they bought from Canada. They can’t keep rerunning SPN and HoD every day all summer.

1.1 for saving hope was a nice dream…

Why did all shows adjust down badly?

  • iMember

    Expected that.

Why did all shows adjust down badly?

Oh, come on! The answer to that is literally the first line of the post…

Shame, Rookie Blue had a really strong episode this week. But considering it was in a different timeslot and pre-empted like crazy, it’s not surprising.

Have you been watching BB this season? Ian is most definitely not “handicapped” and is not being exploited. He happens to be my favorite player, obviously the one with the highest IQ and is full of stories and a great sense of humor. Yes, he is eccentric, he rocks in his chair, etc. But he won HOH this week! Most interesting character on BB in years. Go Ian!

I read in twitter The Next got 1.3 viewers now Im confused how people count these things
any way Im so sad that I cant be happy about it
The Next makes me laugh a lot and really feel the artists lives and choose to become a fan or not which I cant see and feel that in other competition shows
I hope they dont cancel the show :(

Like bran I watched bb on another channel is that included in the #

To be honest, The Next is the best singing competition show right now… deserves better ratings!
