   Well take a look at that – Fox “Business” News actulaly had to cover business news…and their ratings plunged.

   Fox News’ averages for the week (estimating Sa-Su) should be close to 3,500K in Primetime and 1,550K in Total Day.

   Man I missed all the bashing on Israel. Just popped in to say I am reg to vote in FL now and my truck is fixed and I am 5k poorer.

   May not be bashing long, there’s a growing backlash in the party, allot of the delegates demanding a conference or they are threatening making it a show about it. We’ll see I guess

    It will be interesting to see if the three major Networks attempt to raise their ratings by toning down the obvious bias. FNC will be first in coverage again. Very interesting stats!

    Which makes me wonder whether the Democratic platform is at odds with President Obama’s “you didn’t build that” speech.

    As d.d wrote, the platform includes this:

    “…the simple principle that in America, hard work should pay off, responsibility should be rewarded, and each one of us should be able to go as far as our talent and drive take us.”

    President Obama’s speech:

    “…You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there. …”

    Exclusive: Democrats Drop ‘God’ From Party Platform

    Guess what? God’s name has been removed from the Democratic National Committee platform.

    This is the paragraph that was in the 2008 platform:

    “We need a government that stands up for the hopes, values, and interests of working people, and gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make the most of their God-given potential.”

    Now the words “God-given” have been removed. The paragraph has been restructured to say this:

    “We gather to reclaim the basic bargain that built the largest middle class and the most prosperous nation on Earth – the simple principle that in America, hard work should pay off, responsibility should be rewarded, and each one of us should be able to go as far as our talent and drive take us.”
