Get back with us on Tuesday and update us on the decline of FNC…
I just flipped over to Matthews. He has Steve McMahon on and they said that peoples 401ks have DOUBLED since Obama got in office now get this………since the stock market has doubled from 6500 to 13000 the 401ks have DOUBLED!!
HEY!!!! Anytbody out there had their 401k DOUBLE in the last 3 1/2 years??????
The WORST part about this…………..there are loons out there that will beleive them!!!!!!!
“No, don’t. I don’t think he’s a bad guy.” said Joe Biden of Mitt Romney. His most embarrassing gaffe of the night?
We’ve rated this claim Pants on Fire
@The Boss: >>> I will add … MSNBC is liberal, FOX is conservative and CNN plays it straight down the middle (or at least tries). MSNBC doesn’t try; neither does FOX. <<<
I won't disagree with most of your expressed opinions. However, I DO believe that the "NEWS" shows on Fox News ARE Fair & Balanced. And, even the programs that have conservative hosts, such as Megyn Kelly, Bill O'Reilly and even Hannity to an extent, do present liberal-Democrats on to express their opinions. MSNBC does not have a somewhat traditional newscast, such as those anchored by Fox's Shep Smith and Brett Baier. But, yes, I don't think anyone at Fox is trying to hide the the worst secret in the world that, generally, their programs are formatted to appeal more to conservatives than any othe group. But, CNN is freefalling without a chute because they decided to take on MSNBC instead of going back to the Ted Turner days when Ted needed to get away from Jane for a while. lol
I agree Ralph. I think most people know BO leans more right, Hannity is farther right, but at least there are guests on like M. Lamont Hill, Lanny Davis, Colmes and such to call them out. I do not think any minds are ever changed but there is some debate.
Soooooo, how many people of color were delegates in Tampa?

Nowwwww, does anybody think the Republican Party can be a viable party in the 21st century when it appeals only to old, white guys?
@The Boss1: >>>Nowwwww, does anybody think the Republican Party can be a viable party in the 21st century when it appeals only to old, white guys? <<<
I resemble that remark. 59 is NOT OLD. lol
@Ralph … I love ya, man, but here’s the deal: MSNBC has its niche: liberals. FOX has its niche: conservatives. CNN does try to play it more down the middle and as a result, it flounders! BUT, on Big News Events, the Average Joe will turn to CNN because the Average Joe still trusts CNN for hard news. The Average Joe just doesn’t watch CNN on a nightly basis, because the Average Joe is watching American Idol or America’s Got Talent!
@Papa
Suck it up, drink some Java and get moving.
Good to see ya back, and trust me, I ALWAYS have my Java close by
@Rata & Ralph
We won’t have internet in Gatlinburg. and with the severe storms moving in may not tonight
Afghanistan: Not That Important
Bret Baier: To hear several speakers in Charlotte … they were essentially saying that you don’t care about the U.S. military because you didn’t mention U.S. troops and the war in Afghanistan in your nomination acceptance speech. … Do you regret opening up this line of attack, now a recurring attack, by leaving out that issue in the speech.
Mitt Romney: I only regret you’re repeating it day in and day out. When you give a speech you don’t go through a laundry list, you talk about the things that you think are important and I described in my speech, my commitment to a strong military unlike the president’s decision to cut our military. And I didn’t use the word troops, I used the word military. I think they refer to the same thing.
@Matthew,
Yes it is dishonest, but it’s bipartisan dishonesty. Both Sherrod Brown and Rob Portman are on board.

Oh, absolutely. Just once in my life I’d like for a major party politician to talk to me like an adult, and lay out the fact that it’ll be impossible to solve this without spreading some pain. These issues are treated as black and white, but the truth is that a natural consequence of deficit reduction is a reduction in GDP; If deficits are 8% of GDP, then any deficit reduction plan is going to impact just about everyone in this economy, it’s inescapable. Both parties are sending the message “it’s those other people causing this mess, and if you just let us raise their taxes/cut their entitlements, we’ll solve the problem!” They’re running on fantasy-world economics, and nobody seems inclined to hold them accountable.
What I want to know is, have the thunderstorms arrived in Charlotte, N.C. yet?
