DRAMATIC DOUBLE EVICTION NIGHT ON “Big Brother” SENDS FRANK EUDY AND JOE ARVIN TO THE JURY HOUSE

Dan Won Live Head of Household Competition, Ian Won Live Power of Veto

New Head of Household Announced on Sunday, Sept. 9

Last night, on the second Big Brother double eviction of the summer, the Houseguests voted to evict Frank Eudy, the 28-year-old from Marion, Ark., who now resides in Naples, Fla., by a vote of 3-1. Frank is the third member of the jury.

Following the eviction ceremony, the Houseguests competed in a LIVE “Famous Last Words” Head of Household competition, where host Julie Chen read quotes from the plea speeches of evicted Houseguests, and the current Houseguests had to guess who said each quote. Dan won the competition and immediately nominated Joe and Ian for eviction.

The Houseguests then competed in the “Swimming with Sharks” Power of Veto competition, where they had to navigate a shark fin through a maze. Ian completed the competition first, earning the Golden Power of Veto, and removed himself from the block. HOH Dan then nominated Danielle as a replacement nominee.

During the second live vote of the evening, the Houseguests evicted Joe Arvin, the 41-year-old chef from Lexington, Ky., who now resides in Schererville, Ind., by a vote of 3-0. Joe is the fourth jury member.

The Houseguests competed in a new HOH competition later that evening which will be featured during the Big Brother broadcast on Sunday, Sept. 9 (8:00:30- 8:59:30 PM, ET/PT).

Big Brother is broadcast three nights weekly: Sundays (8:00:30-8:59:30 PM, ET/PT), Wednesdays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) and the LIVE eviction show hosted by Julie Chen on Thursdays (9:00-10:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT).

BIG BROTHER follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with more than 52 cameras and 95 microphones recording their every move, 24 hours a day. Each week, the Houseguests will vote someone out of the house. At the end, the last remaining Houseguest will receive the grand prize of $500,000.

BIG BROTHER is executive produced by Emmy Award-winning producer Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan for Fly on the Wall Entertainment, in association with Endemol U.S.A.
